Mixed feelings following first GP appointment since PMR diagnosis

By Monday the pain was back and I was very breathless; when I saw GP face to face, two days ago I was told to go back to 17.5 for two weeks and then try again. I raised

edema - in testicles
We are waiting on a call back from the hospital. Partners edema getting worse by the day, now throughout legs and feet and testicles. He is in so much discomfort it is breaking my heart. He had to stop diuretics due to low sodium but last bloods showed sodium at normal (lowest end of normal) level

A List of Screening Tests For A High PSA
A 73 year old friend had a PSA test that came back @ 50 . He is not afraid, is cool and analytical. He can afford to have any out of pocket testing and treatment . He wants to understand the status of his prostate cancer before having any treatment. He is asking if there is a list of screening tests

Pmr question about diet?
Curious what results pmr sufferers have had with trying gluten free diets? Or any other specific diet modifications.

partner diagnosed decompensated cirrhosis 22.12.21 - stopped drinking the same day. Albumin 18 at diagnosis, 24 at best since now dipped again to 22. How long did people's albumin take to recover - is it normally so slow to improve - in contrast bilirubin gone from 256 to 58 since Dec. He is having

Husbands collapse
Well I've just visited my husband again and the Dr says that his confused state may improve once I get him back to my daughters. She doesn't know if it will ease and she's not sure if it was caused by the sodium drop or something else going on. His blood tests aren't back from yesterday, but they're

Carbs and thyroid
sorry, none of you seem to have understood my question. I am not talking about low carb diets at all. I am asking if a high carb diet will cure an underactive thyroid in a person who is not on medicatrion. If so, where is the research and evidence and why don't endos, GPs etc. suggest adding extra

Rectal prolapse
Hi everyone and Happy Easter - hope the sun is shining where you are. It's beautiful here! (UK). Unfortunately I think I have a rectal prolapse :( . I had a soft mass pop out this morning. Test Results after discussion on here
Hi folks, hot of the press so to speak and on the attached screenshot. The doctor's comments are below this message. They are not what I was expecting, especially as I inject B12 1mg only once a month, but data analysis works more than one way and unless I'm reading it wrongly, I can cancel out any sort

Inflammation only on right-side of body? With Hashimoto.
Hi everyone, Does anyone experience inflammation only on one side of their body with Hashimoto? The left side of my body may only get very, very slight inflammation every now and then but the right-side of my body becomes so inflamed and painful; mainly my leg, hip and arm and then some in my face too
