edema - in testicles

We are waiting on a call back from the hospital. Partners edema getting worse by the day, now throughout legs and feet and testicles. He is in so much discomfort it is breaking my heart. He had to stop diuretics due to low sodium but last bloods showed sodium at normal (lowest end of normal) level so hoping to re start them. Any advice? Anyone had this and it went away. Please give us some hope, quality of life not great at the moment

A freind of mine got this and it went away with a controlled mix of meds including diuretics. It took a few weeks but eventually his testicles returned to normal along with a vastly improved reduction in his acites and the swelling in his legs.

hoping that will be the case. We were hoping hospital would call yesterday but they are pretty rubbish. Am going to chase them down today

just in case this helps someone else, partner eventually re admitted. Seen by a consultant who said he should never have been left to get this bad and should have been having twice monthly appointments. He has had a drain, albumin infusion and now on IV diuretics. It took at good few days of chasing down the consultant to get them to see him. Am hoping now they can make him more comfortable and see him more frequently

My husband had this , his legs and scrotum were huge , he went in a water reducing drip and was back to normal and discharged after 5 days. He only had mild acites in his tummy. He had a recent bout of odema in his legs and was put on IV antibiotics as it turned into cellulitis ( he doesn’t respond to oral antibiotics) , hope he gets good results soon
