Peak Flow going down... :(
The last year and a half has been spectacular for me and my asthma. Since in August 2019 the doc swapped my meds (seretide 250 to symbicort 80 4.5) everything changed. I went from 500 peak flow to 645. No more phlegm, no infections, a lot of resistance..Excellent improvement of my condition. But 2 weeks

Yellow Zone
So, I'll just preface this by saying my GP does know this and I'm waiting for a referral. Basically, I'm constantly going into the yellow zone of my Peak Flow daily, often multiple times a day. How can this stop happening? I'm currently taking Fostair 200/6 2 puffs twice a day and an additional 2 puffs

Weight loss & tachycardia
Weight loss & tachycardia Can weight loss make your heart beat sound louder? Is weight loss associated with increased tachycardia? I’ve had paroxysmal AF for 8 years. 1 cryablation, 1 RF ablation which has reduced my AF. I go in to AF about once every six weeks, usually in my sleep and CV with pip

Radium-223 & Fracture Risk
New study from the Royal Marsden (Chris Parker) [1]. What's next on tap
Well the 12th cycle of carboplatin and cabataxal is on May 20th, this treatment regime has been successful bringing my Psa down from 243 to 6. Although I have been told 12 cycles are on the far end of what should be taken, so far I have been tolerating it pretty well, aside from burning pain with urination

May is Coeliac Awareness Month.
Good morning folks, This month is coeliac awareness month in many countries so here's a link to G.I.G. the Gluten Intolerant group of N America with some interesting links. It's also interesting to see how other countries see a gluten free diet especially as we have varying standards across the world

Blood results and liver
I wrote last week about a series of blood tests, which showed I needed more levothyroxine and iron. I want to thank everyone again for helping me out since my dose was raised to 75mcg levo earlier this week! I showed the results to my GP who then had me do another set of blood tests on Wednesday and

Chips!
The hardest part of LCHF is not eating potatoes and specially chips. Last night I tried celeriac chips and they came out really good and nice tasting. Cut celeriac into chips, blanch the for 2 mins, drain, put them back in the empty pan, add some whole nut oil and turmeric or mild curry powder, put

Hi, I'm kind of desperate right now and thought that you guys might have some ideas regarding my problems. Roughly 3 Weeks ago I started having trouble of breath from time to time. In my case inhaling feels much worse than exhaling. Also my throat starts feeling harder when I have SOB. I don't have

Neupogen Injection During Doxetaxil Treatments.
Good morning Warriors: I had my first Docetaxel infusion 3 weeks ago. I had a bad reaction and was put in hospital for 5 days because of a low white blood cell count - 5 - and low sodium count of 119. I believe the reaction was because I could not eat for 3 days due to a severe case of acid reflux
