Experiences with

Low sodium diet

They have put me on a strict low sodium diet and increased my diaretics to hopefully control and eliminate the Edema. I’m a week into that and have lost 10 pounds so hopefully it’s starting to work. Anyone else have or had Edema. How did it go? Thanks.

He is on diuretics but not been told a low sodium diet but I understand it is needed. We don’t use a lot of salt but is there some kind of check sheet that anyone has been given? Wishing all a healthy future. Thanks in advance.

Feeling pretty frustrated as there seems to be no answers, so I just take one day at a time, eat a low protein and low sodium diet as much as possible, and try to be as positive as possible under the circumstances.

I've got chronic constipation that requires 12 sodium docusate a day and a low/no residue diet. Finally I've got a retropubalis muscle problem that makes having a poo practically impossible. :-/ #gaslightinggastro #fedup #uncomfortable #malnourished #constipation

I have just had a cholesterol test with a reading of 6.5. The Doctor hasn't contacted me about it , but I eat a very healthy, low fat diet. Can Pred & a lot of worry/stress ( which i have in bucketfulls at the moment) affect our cholesterol readings?
