Asthma a and e
hi I have just got home after an admission for 24 hrs to a nd e and AAU . It was the most frustrating and poor experience I have ever had.It was in the hospital which I work in as a nurse. I now am terrified to go for help. I have cough variant asthma and was initially triaged to GP who said I needed

feeling down in the dumps..
Would be great to hear from others who struggled with depression,
low
mood
and anxiety as prominent symptoms of hypo. Or even if anyone has a lovely success story on Armour to give me some hope, I know I’m very early days! Thanks in advance

newbie again.....warning long post!!
hi I've been on here for some time and not taken the first step to gain control....I've read loads and know what needs to be done but not put into practice. I've been trying to retire gracefully from my work as a podiatrist, the transition has been difficult. I'm coming up to my 69th birthday and

Adrenal deficiency?
My stomach is slightly better but not great, I was experiencing other symptoms like headaches, constant nausea,
low
mood
, lack of energy, craving sugar, and I also ate gluten which I haven't done for several years, also upon waking a 5am in the morning I would drink 2 litres of water within 2 hours.

Hashimotos flare up
I have just come out of a 10 day period of feeling very hypo - fatigue,
low
mood
, muzzy head, apathy and just a general feeling of being unwell. It went on for so long this time that I really wondered if it was going to be like this forever. Then inexplicably after 10 days it all began to lift.

Food when on PD Dialysis
I haven't really seen this but what all do you eat? I'm not yet there and at 17% I'm mostly eating plants. So if I was on PD can I eat what I like while sticking to healthy food but what about high potassium foods like potatoes, tomatoes, cantaloupe, bananas and the like? Since I am taking meds for

struggling to cope with COPD
I posted some time ago but feel I need further advice and this forum seems to be the best place to receive it. As yet due to COVID I have yet to have a spirometry test. The doctor just tells me he thinks I have mild COPD and I have a ventolin inhaler to use when I am wheezy. My peak flow is usually

Glutathione Therapy and LDN
Just read the chapter in the LDN book about treatments for Parkinson's. Low dose naltrexone and glutathione therapy. Anyone have any experience with these? I've found several functional medicine places in the San Diego area and plan to call on Monday. We are not happy with the treatment my husband

Dosing Guanfacine 1mg XR every other day an option?
So what we’ve done is stopped her medication for 2 days and then reintroduced it ((bc her impulsivity and overly sensitive reactions are as difficult as the
low
mood
after she is off it for 2 days)) and all goes well again for a few weeks and the cycle of mood restarts.

T4/T3 combo update, new labs
I found that when trying to increase my FT4 levels above 60% in the reference range I developed nagging neck tension pain, achy cracky bones, vision issues, no appetite,
low
mood
, and cognitive problems. With my Ft4 levels left at 60% my FT3 levels remained just below 50% in range.

My Dad's PSP Journey
His
mood
was understandably very
low
following his diagnosis and he was almost immediately prescribed sertraline which I think helped. His impulse control is compromised and he drives my mum crazy by getting out of his chair the minute she leaves the room (with the inevitable fall).

Emotional rollercoaster
Of course, compared to "normal" people, I would still look in a sad
mood
, with
low
energy and a pretty high anxiety level. But it's better than it was in a long time.
