What "should" I be feeling like?
I've had GCA for 3 years now and my prednisolone dose is down to 5mg. I had thought that by now I would be feeling a lot closer to "normal" than I actually am. I still feel extreme exhaustion, like being completely drained of energy, not really tired. Also as if I have permanent flu. I have very bad

Anyone out there know anything about the effects Losartan...
or group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists (whoo!) have on your running - or more specifically your breathing under duress? Losartan is prescribed mainly to help control hypertension - or high blood pressure as it's more commonly known. I've been taking it for years without issue. But

Primary Raynaud's Syndrome
Hi I'm new here... 18 years old and was diagnosed with Primary Raynaud's last year, I constantly feel cold, my whole body shakes, my feet, knuckles, wrists, hands and lips turn blue, this occurs inside or outside the house and in all seasons of the year. I'm really struggling with dealing with this.

Anyone have experience of Losartan
My doctor has switched me over to Losartan to treat my high blood pressure, as the Ramipril I was on was making me cough. Anyone have experience of using this and does it cause weight gain. I have recently lost one stone in weight and I don't want to put weight back on.

Blood Pressure medication
I have been suffering from high blood pressure for several years and treated successfully with 50 mg of Losartan. A few months ago my BP was low so the doc took me off them. It has risen since then so I started taking the Losartan again but found that it was now making me breathless so I stopped again

Hi, community. I have lupus, Raynauds & erythromelagia. I haven't posted for ages but I've been really struggling recently and wonder if anyone else has noticed muscle wasting and weakness whilst taking Hydroxychloroqine? It has been getting worse over the last year or so. I've been on the HCQ for

Shortness of breath
I recently had an aortic valve repair through a TAVR procedure. A few weeks after the procedure I was feeling great.....very little shortness of breath, only if I over exerted. My primary physician lowered my metoprolol tartrate from 25 mg twice a day to 12.5 mg twice a day because of my heart rate staying

Best apps for High BP???
Hi All I'm new to Health Unlocked so wanted to ask you all if you can give me the benefit of your experience? I have had high BP for over 2 years now and I am on 100mg of Losartan and 10mg of Amlodipine. The last few visits to my doctor have ended up with his suggesting I start to take antidepressants

NHS Prescription Saving
If you pay for your NHS prescriptions, you can make huge savings by getting an NHS pre-payment certificate. My pharmacist kindly pointed this out to me. I am on bisoprolol, flecanaide, rivaroxaban, losartan & indapamide. Paying regular prescription price comes to £540/year. The pre-payment certificate

Pulmonary regurgitation
Hi everyone, I hope you can help me ... I had my annual echocardiogram last month and this morning received a letter from the Rheumatologist, saying that it shows "mild regurgitation in the mitral heart valve and mild pulmonary regurgitation". ...and that's all it says. Nothing about what to do about

Change of Meds, dropped warfarin, started on Riveroxaban
I thought this might be useful information for others. I have persistent/permanent AF (6 years or so) for which I have been taking, of late, Warfarin and Losartan for the last couple of years. I am to all intents and purposes asymtomatic. However, I have been experiencing quite badly splitting finger
