Losartan or Rivaroxaban side effects or triggers, or pure coincidence? A further update.
Further to the excrutiating pains I described in earlier posts about Rivaroxaban I had another blood test 23 days ago. Within 24 hours a doctor rang me to give me the results. He explained that one test showed the amount of inflammation in my body. It should have been around 15 to 20, but was at 130

MHRA Medicines Recalls
Today the MHRA have put out two recalls of medicines made in a specific Indian manufacturing plant. No-one seems to think that there is any actual known issue with the medicines themselves. Therefore the recall is not intended to go out to patients. However, it is quite possible that there will be

Rivaroxaban update
From day 1 I started to get aches and pains throughout my body which got gradually worse. At Day 5 I agreed with my GP to give it a fortnight to see if my body got usedto it. Only 1% of people on Rivaroxaban have thhose side effects. At Day 11 I started on Losartan (instead of Ramippril), and unfortunately

Losartan (Cozaar)
I've been to see Cardio and he has put me on 10mg Cardicor (was7.5) and prescribed Losartan. (I'm also taking Warfarin). Anyone got any information on Losartan. I'm not very happy about the increased dosage or having to take something new. I have looked up Losartan and read all about angiostensin, but

I get Raynauds in my hands . I've tried Losartan but it made no difference and am wondering if nifedipine would help.
I read Sandycharlie's post and it seems a lot of people take it with success. What dose do you need to take and are there any side effects? Am 52 years old and get Raynauds all year round - usual symptoms - white fingers, pain and pins and needles etc. but fortunately no ulcers - any suggestions?

Has anyone tried continuous illoprost for 5 days?
I was at the connective tissue disease clinic on Thursday in Bristol. I have mixed connective tissue disease and my raynauds is really bad. I was under a consultant in Scotland until October 2011 and she'd tried me on every drug she could think of (which never made any difference) and given me illoprost

CKD stage 4
Can someone tell me if there are many ill effects at this stage? I started taking dizzy spells a few weeks ago. My doc reduced my Losartan but this has not helped. I had a heart monitor for 24 hours but results are fine. I get nauseous and now I'm starting to itch, mainly on my legs. All these effects

Fibromyalgia,Rheumotoid Arthritus,Lupus and Raynauds.
I suffer from the above conditions. My medications at the moment are Amitriptyline,Etodolac,Gabapentin,Sulfasalazine, Prednasole,Nifedipine and more recently Losartan which I have stopped taking as I felt unwell taking them. I also have recently had an MRI scan on my neck which only showed normal wear

Wonder what would happen without free prescriptions...
Crime, thyroid and amusement don't often go together. But I couldn't help laughing at this story today: The Blotter: A burglar took what? Fri, 10/15/2010 - 12:57pm — Chris Essig If you are going to burglarize a motor vehicle (which I highly suggest you don't do) what would be the first thing you
