Best apps for High BP???

Hi All

I'm new to Health Unlocked so wanted to ask you all if you can give me the benefit of your experience?

I have had high BP for over 2 years now and I am on 100mg of Losartan and 10mg of Amlodipine. The last few visits to my doctor have ended up with his suggesting I start to take antidepressants but for various reasons don't want to go down that path.

I Monitor my BP daily with a home unit and it's so different each day. 211/124 down to 122/84

So the question -

from your experience do you use an App on your phone that not just takes notes of the readings but also the contributing factors and if so what is the app?

Contributing factors -

Excersise done

Sodium intake

Weight

Water intake

Daily stress

I have spent some time looking at this and the best I have come up with is to enter my BP and weight into Apples Health app, my daily diet into The app My Fitness pal and that's works out my sodium intake and then once I have enough info put all of this somehow onto a chart to see how the various factors increase or decrease my BP.

Thanks

Cameron

If you try to figure it out it will drive you crazy! I get all kinds of readings throughout the day. I am just taking one reading mid day and thats it..otherwise the numbers will drive me crazy! When i read 1 of 3 people have high blood pressure it makes me wonder what is happening to cause the bp in so many people...something is not right..a dr. Told me there is an under lying problem in the body that causes high bp so instead of finding it it is easier to give a script for meds after all the Drs get kick backs on the meds and nothing in return if they find what is causing it.
