Hi Wondered if anyone could answer this question for me. I’ve been diagnosed with primary billary cirrhosis. Is that different to any other type of cirrhosis or is that the same ? I’m wondering if this is why they have prescribed me URSO acid. thank you

Psych evaluation
This is for those of you who are either on the
liver
transplant
list or who have had a transplant. What I'd like to know is whether you were given a psychological evaluation or a one-to-one conversion with a trained therapist as to how to deal with serious organ rejection should it occur.

They diagnosed cirrhosis and advised me to change my lifestyle or I wouldn’t be around much longer…and very

Lump on Liver
Hi again, I was discharged after my transplant assessment as I was not ill enough yet to go on the list. I have a decompensated liver, crohns disease and diabetes. On a routine ultrasound last week they noticed a lump in my liver and referred it as urgent to my specialist. I have chased a few days

Just found out I need a kidney transplant

After a biopsy, we discovered that my kidneys are even worse than the numbers show. I am so overwhelmed. My mom could possibly

I am seeing a new dr and he’s apparently one of the best in the area. Home Oxygen is a game changer
Afternoon all! Mindful that it has been a fair while since my last post - much longer than intended. However, in many ways it's a good thing as it means I've got more to update you all on. First and foremost, I'm still on the lung transplant list and have yet to get another call since being re-added

Fibrosis result confusion
Hi all, I have been a lurker on this wonderful forum for about 61/2 years when I was diagnosed with alcohol related disease. Only symptoms were ascites and weight loss, about 3st. 8 litres were drained from abdomen at that time and I have never had any liquid build up since then. I am completely compensated
