Everytime I cough hard as a result of breathlessness because of any slight movemnt I make Ive started hyperventilating this has only happened very recently Im used to getting sick after it but its scary this hyperventilating its very scary Ive never
Mum once again wont accept that Im hyperventilating & keeps saying im having a panic attack when I get tired
Ill be speaking to my specialist on monday when she phones to me
Ive even tried to discuss with her an asessment for a lung transplant but all she could say was I wouldnt get through it - Like everything you dont know until you try
This has got worse now & its making my life a misery & I feel that by her refusing me this assessment she is effectively making my life a misery because of how much I am suffering
Its a mixture of my ILD & my PH. I requested some medication agreed with one of the doctors at sheffield & what to they do SEND THE WRONG ONES !-
I had to phone up & they said they hadnt received the prescription that the specialist was doing whilst we were discussing the medication - when my mum spoke to them thye told her they d recieved it but I wont get it while friday
so we ll see what they deliver on frieday (if i get the new mediation friday) if they send the wrong ones again I ll be wrapping it up sending it back with a note saying not my medication

It all sounds very upsetting and frustrating for you horseygirl. See what your specialist has to say when she phones and tell her exactly what’s going on and how it makes you feel.
I'm so very sorry that you're having to go through this horseygirl, perhaps write down the facts and questions you have for when your specialist calls to it's all clear. Good luck with it and I really hope it gets sorted very soon. P ××
I hope your phone call gives you some answers. Maybe your consultant could refer you to a transplant clinic and let them decide whether or not to see you.
Hi horseygirl_0103 - Not a good position to be in - I under an over ventilate - but not for the same reasons as you, nevertheless it can be scary. I don't have ILD & PH problems,, but heart and lung problems,
Reading your post nothing is going right - I would take stock, go see your GP urgently and ask her for help with your hyperventilating and ask her to sort you consultant out.
Your mum could be right, hyperventilating is nasty and can cause panic attacks. but that's not the only reason.
