Post Liver Transplant

I am worried about how my hands, body and voice always shaky and is been 5 weeks after my operation. I get dizzy when I am standing at one place for long. I would like to know from someone who has been in my position if I honestly will go back to being the same. Like going gym, lifting weight, playing

Hand Sanitizer gel

Hi I am 2 weeks post liver transplant. Just had a thought that I am carry round Carex hand sanitiser gel which I use all the time, but just realised it contains 70% Alcohol. Is this okay to use as know you should not use mouth wash that has alcohol in it thanks

Liver transplant aborted

I was called for my first transplant the next day at 4am, It was a DCD liver. On arrival at the hospital I was tested (blood, chest xray, ecg) and told I would have to wait to see how things developed.

I really don’t want a liver transplant but do not know how to get of the list for good.

I done all my research on the survival rate of people having the liver transplant. 75 people out of a hundred will survive for the first five years of the the liver transplant and the rest will die.

What do you do and what support do you get if you really don’t want a liver transplant

I really don’t want a liver transplant. Last year in December I was out on the liver transplant list. I got called in within less then a week after being put on the transplant list. 14th December 2021 to be more precise. But it never happened. And just felt the whole excise was a trial run.
