Whats in a Dx?

My WCC is currently 12.48 and my differential Neutrophil count 76.1% and have been high for a long time. My Eosinophil

To help with lowering my
LDL
and also stabilize my plaque in my arteries. I am really gutted as I truly thought he would be so pleased with my progress that he would say continue with my diet and exercise routine and lets monitor your progress.

GRAVES AND THYROTOXICOSIS : LIPIDS, PROTEIN METABOLISM
Thyroid hormone may also affect cholesterol metabolism by directly increasing the number of membrane surface low-density lipoprotein (
LDL
) receptors [422]. The increased cholesterol synthesis, and even more enhanced clearance rate in hyperthyroidism has been confirmed in a recent study.

Apheresis
LDL
apheresis is a treatment that removes
LDL
cholesterol from your blood. It works a lot like dialysis. Your blood is removed via a needle in your arm.

How to reduce LDL further - followed all the normal advice
My recent tests showed overall cholesterol at 161 (down from 196), HDL at 35 (down from 41),
LDL
at 107 (down from 136) and Triglycerides unchanged. I guess I should be pleased that the results are better but to be honest, it's still not where it should be.

I Also as my cholesterol is 19.4 with
LDL
level 14.9 she has referred me to a lipid specialist but also wants me to take Ezetimibe which is a non statin drug. Has anyone else had experience taking this drug looking at the patient leaflet it seems to have same side effect as statins.

Clinical trial - using body weight to adjust t4 versus t4 + t3 dose
Compared with EMPIRICAL-T4, BW-ADAPTED-T4 treatment resulted in a lower body mass index (BMI) (29.0 ± 0.7 vs. 29.5 ± 0.7 kg/m2; P < 0.03), lower total cholesterol (198 ± 9 vs. 226 ± 7 mg/dl; P < 0.01), and lower low-density lipoprotein (

DIET: and Keeping HDL/LDL as they should be with CHEESE!
I had a quad bypass ten years ago, and have been careful with diet and exercise ever since. I'm fit and well! The plant sterol spreads are helpful, but there is also a cheese (which I guess I shouldn't name, called Lo-Col, there, I did it anyway) which substitutes maize oil for milk fats, and which

Palpitations - Once NDT started, how long before they might stop? Beta blockers?
I’m a big fan of Malcolm Kendrick’s work, so I’m not unduly concerned about the
LDL
, although of course my GP is. My
LDL
more than has doubled since last tested 5 years ago, it's 8.6mmol/l, was 3.2mmol/l.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Hello! Kind of new here but it was recommended that I share my experience with LDN to help treat my Hashimoto's. I was diagnosed just over a year ago and started on LDN shortly after diagnosis to help with several autoimmune issues and CFS/FM. I actually asked several of my former practitioners for LDN
