Why am I not getting better?
I was diagnosed last summer with a B12 of 50. A message from the receptionist told me I had the ‘antibodies’ & would need B12 injections for life. After my loading injections I felt slightly better, but that did not last. My most worrying symptom is the weakness in my legs... I don’t feel I can lead

New blood test results. Advice, please?
Hi all I’m a first time poster, but I’ve learnt a lot from this site already. Sorry if it’s a bit long. Feel free to skip to latest test results at the end. I am male, in my 50s, and I was diagnosed hypothyroid in Aug 2017. Hashimotos confirmed: Anti-Thyroidperoxidase antibodies AntiTPO (TPEX)

Can anyone help with iron levels?
The endocrinologist suggested I get tested for haemochromatosis due to high ferritin levels. GP has done an iron panel first and if it doesn't meet criteria I won't be referred for genetic testing. Can anyone tell me anything about these results in relation to high ferritin and/or haemochromatosis?!

High platelets for 5 years now
I just found out my platelets are 564 . For about five years now they're always running a little high anywhere from 450 to 520 but now they are at the highest as well as my white blood count being 11.0 right now. I just tested positive for strep today but regardless of this all the other blood work

Hello, I have Hashimotos and currently self treat with NDT due to poor care from my gaslighting GP. Iron supplement
I am trying to take iron supplements to improve my levels but they make me feel so ill. Nausea and burning in my stomach. I've tried taking with food, with orange juice and a vit c tablet. What do others do to help with this? Would a PPI negate the effect?
