PSA Higher 30 days into Abiraterone

my PSA has jumped from .761 on December 11th to 2.09 as of February 25th...I stopped my 50 mg Casodex and began 1,000 mg Abiraterone on January 25th...have an MO appointment tomorrow...all other blood work is outstanding (Alk Phos 47, C-reactive protein <1, kidneys & liver handling the Abiraterone / Prednisone). Anyone have any similar uptick after ceasing Casodex?...any comments on how long to run with Abiraterone?...my profile is up-to-date (written in a choppy manner but current)...feel physically fine...train daily...flummoxed after reading 43 lines of an outstanding blood panel only to get to the PSA number...Thanks in advance for any thoughts my warriors...

You can try switching steroids to Dexamethasone (see SWITCH trial results)

My doctor said he has 1 out 3 so far that it worked on. It held down the one patient's PSA for 6 months. I think in the trial results, something like 43% had some PSA reponse.

I've just started on that since my PSA had a slight uptick on Zytiga.

You would want to stay on Zytiga util there is progression and not change treatments just because of a PSA increase.
