High Gleason score + .2 PSA
Want to share this link about when to start salvage radiation after surgery. Only a few years ago, the cutoff PSA for starting radiation was .5 Now, my doc and others want to start before it gets to .2 (I'm at .11, and I have a "risk factor" due to Gleason 9 score) https://www.cancernetwork.com/view

Baclofen pump
Hello my dear friends, My spasticity has gotten worse in my legs. I did a baclofen pump trial about 20 years ago. Made my legs too weak. Now I have much tone, especially my right leg. I don't think much had changed. I am still ambulatory, some days use nothing, trekking pole(s) or a rolator, depending

Tips for dealing with GP
Morning everyone. I have discussed my journey with you before and issues I have had, which most of us have had, in getting a diagnosis. However, even though I have a diagnosis of MCTD - primarily Sjogren's, with secondary Fybromyalgia I am still having problems with my GP and would be glad of any advice

Been on holiday to Summerset, stayed longer than expected, brother has big C cancer. So needed extra tablets. Chemist rang my surgery, he came back saying I was a foreigner, at first said no, but when said would pay changed his mind. £50 paid had tablets. Was humiliated when he said there was a lot

Laparoscopy clear - what now?
Hi everyone. Thanks for the pre- surgery advice on my previous post. I had my laparoscopy around 2 weeks ago on the 20th March. It was an uncomplicated procedure and I was found to have a normal pelvis with no evidence of endometriosis. Obviously I am so relieved to be told this. However, they said

Failed ICSI - 2 eggs collected none survived
Hi, I guess I am just looking for some advice and good news stories. I had my egg retrieval yesterday. I was a slow responder to stimulation but managed to get about 4 follicles on either ovary to the right kind of size. They managed to get 2 eggs which I was really disappointed with. However received

Hi everyone It's me again. I hope you are all doing ok. Last time I posted I was feeling really unwell on my dose of T3 but had an upcoming appointment on 6th March. On the day it was a different Endocrine Nurse who I didn't know & was difficult to understand due to her accent but basically told me

Third line chemotherapy, Caelyx
so, have started Caelyx every 4 weeks as carboplatin and paclitaxel and Niraparib have stopped working. Surgery to remove peritoneum and resection liver not an option. Does anyone have experience of just Caelyx? Is it effective on its own? Thankyou
