PPIs (omeprazole/lansoprazole & friends)
Does anybody else taking these find that they make wind/gas/bloating worse as I'm pretty sure that omeprazole is doing that to me?

Colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. Had cryptosporidium. Now stool change, noisy stomach + burning. Help!
Hello. Thank you in advance for responding to my long post. I've had IBS for as long as I can remember. This past October, the dizziness and nausea started up and kept going all winter. Could have been part of a virus that revealed itself in November. I had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy mid January

Been on omeprazole for about 10 years for acid reflux, am concerned about the side effects long term. Burp! Whoops, sorry!
Has anyone got any ideas? I had to have an endoscopy because of blood appearing in my mouth. As they found multiple fundic gland polyps in my stomach, they suggested that it could be due to the Omeprazole that I take with my pred. No cause was found for the bleeding, but I will be going back to the

Confused and need help please
Hello everyone, my story is a long one I'm afraid so I'll be as brief as possible. I was diagnosed with GCA in December 2012 after a 15 week headache on the left side. Started on 60mgs of prednisolone and reduced fairly successfully to around 10mgs within a year after the introduction of methotrexate

When time of day to take Prophylactic Antibiotics?
Hello all, I have just been prescribed prophylactic antibiotics to take 3 times a week. As they interact with Omeprazole when do people take theirs, morning or night time? Thank you for your advice.
