Which make of T3 ?
Can anyone tell from the markings on my T3 tablets who the manufacturer is ? They came in an unmarked white pot. One side just has a line down the middle. The other has GS then underneath 058. The label on the pot says liothyronine sodium ( tri-iodothyronine) 20 micrograms tablets. I think they are Mercury

Dash it all, Biggles cops some flak damage behind enemy lines, but is helped by a charming Medic!
When I last posted, I was heading off with 2 HU bombs into enemy territory after my fierce monocle wearing Haemo Wallah upped the anti on the platelet factories. In truth my little biplane has struggled to carry this new load. I was stricken with a very sore mouth on about day 3 after the increase, and

TEVA Levo New formulation
Saw my endo today. I’ve been taking 2x 5mcg T3 for 5 days plus my previous dose of 100mcg Mercury pharma levo. No benefit yet. If anything I am feeling more tired! Don’t really know how long to give it before I try and increase. Endo said it was up to me but I wanted direction so we agreed to reduce

Just signed up and fed up with PMR
Hello All I'm in my sixties and diagnosed with PMR at the end of May 2017. I have seen so many different stories and experiences here which have increased my understanding of this vile condition. I think I may be more fortunate than I realised as I started on 15mg of pred, last year, and have managed

Acid reflux surgery? Post nasal drip again!
Hi, I think I've mentioned before I got acid reflux which when I get a cough makes it far worse and makes me wheeze terribly. Anyway I've had investigations and my oesophogus is okay and works well which is good. I found Omeprazole not too helpful and Esomeprazole not much better either. A month ago

Fellow suffers. Here is my history. Everything that has happened with treatment.
Dear my fellow suffering, I thought it be best to write a little narrative of how and when my symptoms first began. For years I suffered from yeast infections. In the year 2000-2001 I fell from a very high surface onto my coccyx bone, that same week I also got a very bad urinary track infection

Could this be thyroid related?
This is a long shot. I'm a 60 year old male and I'm trying to find out why, when I wake in the morning, I start to sweat. It's not profuse, it's not during my sleep, and it's not because I'm hot. It's like a cold sweat. It starts the minute I wake properly - like someone has started my engine. I'm

New Member - Query re. B12 Injections Stopping B12 Getting To Cells Unless Serum B12 High
Hello, I'd be grateful if someone could help me with this query. I read in a recent post that B12 shots could cause problems with B12 getting into cells unless serum levels were very high. Is this due to sensitisation of the cells because of the huge level of B12 in the bloodstream for some time following

Reflux
Specialist has increased my omeprazole from 40mg to 80mg and also given me Erythromycin 250mg per day for my reflux/aperistactic osoephagus. Has any one else heard of taking so much omeprazole?

Neurological symptoms and b12
Hi, last b12 blood test reading back in Dec was 174. Doctor said it wouldn't account for my numb toes. Saw a neurologist in Feb who diagnosed poly neuropathy. In March my fingertips began losing sensation. I read about possible links between both propranolol and omeprazole and neuropathy and stopped

Urinary creatinine private test
Hi, I am new to CKD support but hoping someone could advise. I take Methotrexate, Naproxen and Omeprazole for R.A. Because of this my bloods are monitored monthly. I have been feeling seriously fatigued for the last two years and made it my mission to find out what is wrong with me as the doctors don't

Tough decision: Zoladex and HRT or perservere with the pain somehow (trialling TENS)
Hi all, In January, I had a laparoscopy to remove an 8cm endometrioma from my right ovary and adhesiolysis. I was found to have severe endo in my pelvis and they couldn't remove all of it nor the growths which are on and around my bowel and right kidney. I have had two hospital stays since the op due
