I am not sure what has happened although up until a few months ago I was taking Nature throid sublingually and now I take it with water first thing. At the moment I am on 1

Thoughts on PPI
Can I ask you guys what your thoughts are on PPI’s? I’ve been on Omeprazole for nearly 8 years now. I was diagnosed with having a TIA, so was told by the neurologist to take a 75mg Aspirin and 20mg Ompeprazole daily, which until 3 months ago I was doing. But I’m now on Rivoroxaban so I’m off the Aspirin

Advice gratefully appreciated!
Hi everyone, I posted a few weeks ago about my ongoing battle to get to the root cause of my many symptoms and issues. Just over 2 years ago I was supremely fit, running, strength training, easily hiking 20+ miles every weekend without so much as an achy muscle. Then May 2016 my feet started burning

T3 sources, private message please
Hello, Could anyone private message me online sources for purchasing T3 please. My bloods repeatedly show conversion problems with levothyroxine treatment only. I have had a dosage increase of levothyroxine very recently so will retest everything again in a few weeks just to be sure and then possibly

Just found a worrying lump
Hi everyone, I'm a 51 year old peri menopausal woman who's hormones are haywire at the mo and don't really have periods anymore and I've just found a small hard pea like lump in right boob. I'll just give a brief history. Was diagnosed with anemia in October 2017 which coincided with a dry socket tooth

Breathlessness
I have heart failure diagnosed October last year. I left hospital on Omeprazole, Frusemide. Isosorbide mononitrate, ramipril, Bisoprolol, digoxin, wRfarin and atorvastatin. All was ok until a couple of months ago when my GP noticed I had a cough and stopped the ramipril. She also said that I didn't need

Omeprazole, stomach problems.
Is taking omeprazole long-term bad for stomach? Does anyone on this site take it every day? Lately I've been waking in the night with rumbling gurgling stomach, from centre of chest to bottom of stomach. Tried stopping it for a few days but the stomach problen continued.

Acid Reflux
I been back to the doctors today to ask for advice about my acid reflux. I was taking omeprazole because my GPs thought the prednisolone was the cause of it. However when I stopped two weeks ago it came back. I have indigestion,a sore throat and an achy chest when it gets bad. (I have been tested for

Strange taste in mouth.
Hiya, I have a hiatus hernia and had been on Esomeprazole 40 mg daily for about 5 years, when my G P switched me to Lansoprazole and then Rabeprazole because of a possible interaction with my Clopidigrol. After 4 months of trying, none of the new PPI's worked even along with Gaviscon at night and I had

Taking the plunge
A very good late PMR morning (it was when I started writing this) to anyone picking-up this post. Having followed the forum for a couple of months, written 1 reply and gained an enormous amount of useful information, I am “taking the plunge” and introducing myself. I’m not a great social media user (

Omeprazole and Zantac
I started taking Omeprazole about 6 years ago for a slight hiatus hernia. After 4 years I was feeling very poorly and my hair was falling out, so the doctor put me on Zantac and Peptac. I still felt poorly so the doctor tested for B12, it was 127 and I was given loading doses then 12 weekly. It didn't

Hi all I’m sure you’re aware you can get a prescription prepayment card at £29.10 for 3 months - card payment £104 for 12 months - card or Direct Debit (10-monthly instalments of £10.40) but I only found this out a few months ago so thought I’d put it out there just in case anyone isn’t. I have three

Issues with the aspirin
Hi there, I haven't posted in a long time. I was diagnosed with ET about 5 and a half years ago JAK2 positive. I've been taking aspirin since, initially dispersible and then enteric coated due to the dispersible causing tummy problems. Around 3 weeks ago I started to experience the worst stomach acid

Low B12 and idiopathic poly neuropathy
My B12 of 174ng/L was described as borderline by my GP back in December when I consulted him about my numb toes. Unfortunately, I then involved a private neurologist, who diagnosed idiopathic poly neuropathy. He discounted long-term omeprazole and beta blockers as the cause and also my family history
