Not wanting to get rid of you lol but I have us two too and I look in on arthritiscare.org.uk
If you look at the top of your screen, there is a thing called "my hub". Click on that, then on browse communities and you'll find a whole host of them. There's an arthritis action group and one called cure arthritis.
But many of us have RA and OA, so you can still participate here.
got em both
I have OA, I find this site is more active than others, for instance, the Osteoarthritis site i've joined seem to be very quiet, it maybe a fairly new site, as to why.
But this site you'll get more responses. 👍
thanks Ruthy
At last! Someone writing about OA. I haven't even introduced myself yet and it's partly because, although I've spoken to one or two on this site, I really thought I should be somewhere else. Thank you for these tips everyone.
I have both apparently, osteo in feet and spine,RA in hands and other parts lol...Mtx since Sept last year, not doing much except severe nausea and good tastes like cardboard and lost fancying anything foodie lol..also since November now on cold number 5,used to only get 1 a year...unfortunately the mtx doesn't help the osteo and pain from that I sometimes think is worse so not sure next step...appt for injections for osteo in sacro joint is an 8 month wait ha ha...these sure are painful hellish illnesses for all....keep smiling xx
I too have both of these. Just got diagnosed with the bursitis of the elbow recently. But I also have Sarcoidosis, and it shares a LOT of symptoms with RA. I believe it is what drives my Osteoarthritis. I do belong to a groups called inspire and they have all sorts of groups of diseases. Some rare like mine.
