Abatacept

Just been prescribed abatacept and sulfasalazine after roactemra stopped working.Anybody taking this and is it successful?

Hi Trace I have been on abatacept for 3 years and it has been great. For 2 years before this I tried lots of different treatment and nothing seemed to work. I am now on abatacept 125mg weekly injection and 15 ml metoject and I can honestly say it has given me my life back. Hope you get the same results I have had hun xx

Hi Trace. Been on this for about 2.5 months. I was on Benepali, but knocked my white cells out, then ro Actemra which did the same. Fingers crossed. Just had my 10th injection, all good, feeling much better. Almost Human again in fact. My swollen fingers have gone down, my painful shoulders good too. I also have 5mg prednisolone too, but they may decrease that, so here's hoping. Good luck on it.
