PMR and starting Pred
So My GP thinks I have pmr and so do I. I am not taking prednisone until the end of the month as we are trying CBD oil first (have since read it doesn’t really help for pmr). So far CBD hasn’t touched my pain. My question is this. Earlier in the week I was so sore. Needed to go clothes shopping and I

Infusion for fibro re pain clinic referral
I go in on Monday for the infusion but I have no idea what it is I’m having put in me. I know it’s to help with the pain but can’t get anymore info from the nurse or from google, so please can someone tell me if they’ve had this, and what exactly is the pain med they use? I also have terrible arthritis

Shoulder pain
I've been having a lot of pain in my shoulders recently, it's mainly my shoulder blades, would arthritis affect these? I had a steroid injection in Feb once I started methotrexate for psa an since its worn off my shoulder blades are in constant pain especially at night. It's so uncomfortable I haven't

Pain reduced by Preds?
HI All, I was diagnosed 2015 PMR/GCA - responded to preds nicely. Rheumy and GP agreed with diagnosis. Changed Rheumy about 2 years in, and new Rheumy wasn't sure about the diagnosis although it responded to preds - subsequently diagnosed seronegative arthritis, and fibro. SO despite ongoing increased

Hand Arthritis
Has anyone had trigger finger surgery? I did on January 11th & it has been stiff ever since. The surgeon says it now has arthritis in it. My whole hand feels arthritic but it didn’t before surgery.

Should I or shouldn’t I increase my Prednisone?
I have got an extremely sore and swollen knee,as previously mentioned. Two visits to the doctor have resulted in one x Ray ...”Normal” and a referral to the muscular clinic for an Arthroscopy (I don’t think this is a good idea but never mind). Are knees ever involved in PMR or is this a separate problem

Symptoms worse on methotrexate
Hello everyone I have inflammatory arthritis. I have been taking methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine for 6 months and during that time my symptoms have worsened. I have been on benepali for 4 weeks and no change yet. Does anyone have a similar experience?

I’am new. I have Psoriatic Arithritis.
I have lived in Maryland all my life. I have psoriatic arthritis, have had this for many years. I have itchy psorisis on my scalp. I have spent a lot of money on all types of shampoos, conditioners, my doctor suggested I try and the light treatment, and any tips I found on Pinterest. Nothing worked!

New to RA
Hi I have been experiencing painful joints for some time now, usually feet ankles and knees, elbows and wrists. I have over the last three weeks developed excruciating pain in my shoulders and hands with swollen joints. I have had bloods done and my R-factor and CRP are elevated and AntiCCP is normal

Why Can't I Find list of 'week's to post under? Anyway Wk2 R1 done :-)
Just wanted to post under Week 2 but can't find it...help?🤦🏻♀️ Managed first run but did have couple of days inbetween last run and yesterday's as my Rheumatoid Arthritis was particularly bad. It wasn't great yesterday but I pushed myself and felt better mentally for doing it so onward and upwards

Arthritis and food.
I can see now that this forum is more about using medicine in every aspect of living with arthritis. I on the other hand do everything I can to help myself using natural remedies. They might not be as affective as the ones prescribed by doctors, but they do work and I believe they are more healthy

Has anyone had any benefit from upping Sulfasalazine from 4 tablets a day to 6 for rheumatoid arthritis?
I’m wondering if anyone can help I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis I’ve tried methotrexate before which doesn’t help as it makes me sick and made me lose a lot of hair. I’m currently taking sulfasalazine, I took it before I had my youngest son at 4 tablets a day which then it worked, but I stopped
