Taking 60 mcg daily of T3 medication, have low TSH and low T4, FT3 is within normal range.
Had hypothyroidism since 2000. Took levothyroxine 150mcg for 14years, felt very unwell, lots of hypo symptoms. Prescribed T3 60mcg on NHS in 2014, felt great for about a year before hypo symptoms returned. GP suggested increasing T3 to 80mcg, said to monitor symptoms, no bloods as I would evidently

Help in interpreting results
I want to first thank everyone who posts and replies on here. This has been a mine of information for me and I greatly appreciate the time and effort from all. I have recently had full blood test through Blue Horizon and would be grateful for help in interpreting them. I currently take 125mcg levothyroxine

Parkie King of the slopes - again
So. Coming up for 5 years post diagnosis, 31 January and the tax return marathon behind me, glorious sunshine following a huge dump of snow - it would have been rude not to go skiing with my chums.A bit apprehensively if truth be told, not least because my boots had rotted and I had to hire a pair. HRT for Osteoporosis
Hi everyone, Has anyone in their 30s been put on HRT for their osteoporosis? If so, what are the benefits, risks and side effects? I'm not clear what it even does. I have tried looking it up online and can only find advice for people going through the menopause!

Gadget recos?
As much as I've been trying to talk myself out of wanting a sports watch or fitness tracker, I keep going back to wanting one... I currently use the NRC app on my iPhone together with the iHealth app (or whatever its called) - and they don't work for heart rate training, for example. I've read that

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with these results. I am currently on 100mg Levothyroxine and feeling like all of my Hypothyroid symptoms are coming back. I also take HRT oestrogel and Ultogestan progesterone, I take these much later in the day so as not to affect my Levothyroxine which I take first

Need advice on thyroid and HRT issues
I’ve got a TSH stuck close to 0 for some time now. Currently on 75/100. GPs just want to keep lowering Levo. NHS Endo not interested. However I have a follow up with them later this month. Previous private Endo doesn’t specialise in female hormones and was a private consultant so not attached to a hospital

Fybro the answer to everything?
Has any one found that when you go to your specialist and you tell them about a joint pain they automatically reply with, "well you have fybo so..." This has happened to me so many times. One example being that I was getting issues with my left shoulder. The pain was like nothing I've had before. It

Does anyone else over 60 with Glaucoma pay for eye lubrication in the UK ?
Apparently North East Essex patients have to pay for eye lubricants, also some areas of Somerset. Does anyone else ? It would be very useful to know. HRT now only costs £20 a year available to all women (probably only needed for a few years), so why not all Gaucoma medications ? Is lifetime conservation
