I don’t know anyone who has had a partial just loads of total knee replacements. My letter states a maximum of one night in hospital which sounds a

results- helped needed to understand what I could maximise please 🙏
I’ve posted a lot of results here as I don’t know what you would need for a clear understanding. Sorry I’m new here and have been in surgical menopause ages 37 so I’m trying to keep and eye on my health since then and adding back HRT I’ll try and add the extra results from bloods in comments?? Xx

While I remember….
While I was sharing a four bay ward post hip replacement, two ladies - who had a total knee replacement and the other a half knee replacement - told me that although, like me, they had a spinal block plus sedation they both could hear the sawing and hammering and what the surgeons were saying…. but

Female Testosterone Replacement Users
My endo has suggested I replace very low levels of testosterone with Androfeme, to complement my existing HRT package of Lenzetto and Utrogestan. After learning Androfeme costs £150.00 upward, and that my NHS GP already has female patients supplementing testosterone, I approached him to take on my prescription

I am finally in the pipeline for one of my knee replacements in 6-8wks time. I have been reducing very slowly from 15mg and currently on 8mg. I have decided I will not reduce further until well after my knee surgery. I put on 6 stone in 6 months when I started pred, this has impacted on my knee pain

ASSESSMENT FOR TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT
Hi everyone, I am due to have medical assessment for a total hip replacement. I am NOT one to take risks easily. I have diabetes type 2 and Atrial Fibrillation as well as taking a LOT of different pills. I am afraid I will be given a high risk and just wonder if this has happened to you and whether

Another useless Endo appointment - anti anxiety drugs are apparently the answer to chronic insomnia?!
Having waited a year for my follow up appointment, my t/con with the Endo was pointless. I have recently posted re 20 years of chronic insomnia, sorry I’m unsure how to tag that post. It included my blood test results. She claims waking at 1-2am is anxiety, and wants me to take anti anxiety drugs.

next steps
hi, I have recently been diagnosed with grade 4 endo. I was today told even surgery won’t help and even if choose it it’s an 18 month wait and major surgery. One of the medical options is the analogue injections, potentially with hrt. Can anyone offer me any advice or experience from their own journeys

Money! money! money!
Spending too much while depressed. Spoke with mental health professionals. They came up with HRT. If balancing me would cause me to spend less would be great but I don't think it will serriousluy help. Stepping back a little - ie not spending right away but waiting alittle was a very good suggestion
