Morning all, I just wondered if the below results are worth me looking into more detail. I have been suffering with perimenopause symptoms which has improved with HRT but digestive problems remain alongside signs of low thyroid.TSH 0.909 mlU/L 0.55 - 4.78
FT4 12.01 pmol/l 10.4 - 19.4
FT3 3.81pmol/l 2.6- 7.1
I did take the test late in the afternoon and am.taking a b supplement with biotin in so I guess that might alter the results.
Thank you for your time x

To avoid interference with blood results we need to stop taking any biotin containing supplements 4-7 days before a thyroid blood test. So its uncertain if these results are accurate if you have been taking something containing biotin.
Your FT4 & FT3 do both look on the low side although your TSH is fine.
It would be better to repeat the test and also include thyroid antibodies which might indicate autoimmune thyroid disease. You could also run tests for key vitamins - ferritin, folate, B12 & d3 to see if any are low and could be improved.
Always do thyroid tests at or as close as possible to 9am.
