Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with these results. I am currently on 100mg Levothyroxine and feeling like all of my Hypothyroid symptoms are coming back. I also take HRT oestrogel and Ultogestan progesterone, I take these much later in the day so as not to affect my Levothyroxine which I take first thing on a morning one hour before eating. I have tested through Medichecks as my GP said my TSH is fine and wouldn’t test anything else. Does it look as though I might need some T3? or an increase in Levo? I can see I need to increase my vit D levels, but any advice on what to do next. Thank you

TSH = 2.45 (range 0.27-4.2)

Free T3 = 3.97 (range 3.1-6.8)

Free T4 =12.3 (range 12-22)

Thyroglobulin =12 (<115)

Thyroid peroxidase = <9 (<34)

CRP HS = 1.16 (0-5)

Ferritin = 33 (13-150)

Folate Serum = 7.13 (>3.89)

Vit B12 active = 106 (50-200)

Taking HRT often increases the need for more Levo.

Free T4 (fT4) 12.3 pmol/L (11 - 23) 10.8%

Free T3 (fT3) 3.97 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 23.5%

You really do need an increase of 25mcgs. Try asking a more helpful, open minded GP at the same practice. Be persistent (nicely). Your TSH needs to be around or just under 1. You are converting well so no need for T3.

Ferritin. A level of 30 is considered deficient so you are very close to this. Focus on iron rich diet - chicken livers, pate, red meat a few times a week.

Folate. Aim for a level of 20. A good B complex helps keep all the B's in balance. This one is good and 90 days supply. amazon.co.uk/Liposomal-Soft...

I dont see a Vit D result but do buy one that also has K2 to help it go towards your bones.
