Confused
Also on a waiting list for
IVF
on the NHS. The NHS are very much pushing me down the hsg/laparoscopy route but I decided to see a private gynaecologist yesterday and he basically said what's the point in hsg/lap if you're having
ivf
.

Recommendations for IVF for over 40s in the UK or abroad
Hello, Can someone recommend
IVF
clinics for over 40s either in the UK or abroad? In the UK I am looking at CARE vs CREATIVE, any advice on these? Were they successful? Abroad I’m considering Spain, Greece or Czech Republic, any recommendations, please? Please PM me with your feedback.

Beginning of IVF, how to proceed with work when there are risks RE lifting, moving and handling… !???
I am about to start
IVF
, first drugs to begin next week and all the rest (including embryo transfer) to happen in March. I am a self employed befriender and there may be risk involved for me during the
ivf
process and then (the hopeful) pregnancy that follows.

Thin womb lining
Hi 👋 We are about to start our second round of
IVF
. I had my scan today and my womb lining is only 4.5 after 13 days of Estradiol. I have to go back for another scan on Friday, but if it’s not thickened up by then they will have to cancel this cycle. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Failed IVF - Eggs Died After Egg Retrieval - Period?
Hi All! I had my first egg retrieval last Wednesday. Unfortunately the 2 eggs they managed to retrieve both died the next day ☹️ The clinic didn't give me any indication on when I should expect my next period? Usually I would be every 27/28 days. However I am at day 32 now. Does anyone have any idea

fetal pole @ 8 weeks
We are certain on dates due to
IVF
and I am 8weeks 5days today. Is it normal to only first see a fetal pole at this stage? Is this still likely to be an unviable pregnancy? The wait is tortuous 😩

Adenomyosis and IVF
Hi everyone, I have been diagnosed with mild Adenomyosis. I have read that people with Adeno don’t have a chance with successful pregnancies. I will be grateful if you can share some success stories with Adenomyosis and what your clinic did differently. Thank you x

PGT testing or not
Hi everyone, I have failed in 3
ivf
cycles. Last one I had 4 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilised and only 1 made it to blastocyst and we sent it to PGT testing. It came out 100% aneploid. Now, I have started another cycle and NY doctor suggested to continue without PGT testing.

Advice: RIF, ERA and PRP
After reading HFEA, ESHRE guidelines and other
IVF
doctors on YouTube they advise ERA doesn't seem worth it, as research shows there is inconclusive evidence it works. Current trials where it is claiming to work are not reliable due to methods.

Where to source Intralipids in London?
I am due to start a FET next month and would like to add intralipids into the cycle due to having three miscarriages during previous
IVF
cycles. However my clinic doesn’t offer this service so does anyone know where I could have Intralipids done without needing a prescription?

About constipation in early pregnancy
I am currently 8 weeks with
IVF
. For the last 3 days, I am getting severe constipation. Taking lots of fibre and fluids, but it does not go away. Feeling pain in my back passage. So worried about it.. Today, dr gave me lactulose syrup. Still not feeling good.
