Failed IVF - Eggs Died After Egg Retrieval - Period?

Hi All! I had my first egg retrieval last Wednesday. Unfortunately the 2 eggs they managed to retrieve both died the next day ☹️ The clinic didn't give me any indication on when I should expect my next period? Usually I would be every 27/28 days. However I am at day 32 now. Does anyone have any idea how long it may take for it to come?

I'm sorry to hear about your eggs. My only blast had to be frozen so I'm waiting on my period now. It should be around 15/16 days after your trigger shot as technically that's when you would begin ovulating xx

Hi Behandd_Hazel_Eyes. That’s so sad to hear. Up to 3 months from r your cycle to return to what is normal for you, but hopefully sooner. Perhaps have a word with your embryologist too. Thinking of you. Diane
