I’ve been proscribed Progynova as part of my IVF protocol. I’ve been taking it three times a day for the past three days and I’m in lots of pain and discomfort. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 endo and I think Progynova is making my symptoms much worse. I wondered if anyone else has the same experience with this medication?

I stopped eating animal products and my doctor reduced my dosage to 2mg thrice daily for 10 days and 4mg twice daily until positive pregnancy Whole food plant based diet helped. Don't forget B12 supplementation
I feel much better now as I also stopped eating animal products and any food that causes inflammation. I’m eating anti inflammatory food which contains vegetables, fruits, walnuts , almonds and some chicken in moderation. The new diet helps me a lot with my endo flare ups. I also found Manuka honey very helpful. It’s quite pricey but worth it. My main worry was not the pain. It was the impact of inflammation on the embryo implantation but the new diet seems to control the inflammation so hopefully I’ll be fine when it comes to FET .
Thanks for your reply! I’m having Progynova 2mg three times a day for FET prep. I haven’t started the injections yet. I’m supposed to take Progynova for 12 days then have the second scan and if everything goes well I can start the injections.
Is there a reason they’re doing medicated FET prep for you vs a natural or modified natural cycle FET?
Do you have regular ovulation/cycles normally?
Reason I ask is that many of us endo warriors find that if we can (ie that we have regular cycles) then natural FET (testing for LH surge) or modified FET (usually low dose stims then trigger) with luteal progesterone support is better for keeping the endo/adeno under wraps! Less oestrogen fuel.
