Help with unexplained weight loss
Hello all, I am waiting upon the fitting of an ICD. In the meantime, as a type II diabetic, I have been having terrible problems with my guts. Lost 20lbs in just a month. Seems my medications had pushed me into Ketosis which probably is the cause. This came on top of painful cramps and griping in my

Finally got a follow up appointment …
After having my lap in October , another 5cm cyst was found 3 weeks later on ultrasound and I’ve been waiting for an app with the gynae ever since I’ve finally been given a last minute appointment for Thursday with a locum gynae, and I’m so nervous he won’t take me seriously as my last gynae told me

Tissue chunks Mirena Coil
This is my second time around with the coil the first time I was bleeding insanely with large chunks of my uterus coming out. I needed up getting the coil removed as I developed a cyst that popped and was rushed to hospital. Currently I had the coil inserted a 2 months ago I haven’t stopped spotting

Stem Cell Therapy for Cardiomyopathy
My husband has cardiomyopathy with a fib, has ICD and now his EP cardiologist suggesting AV node ablation. But we just found out about stem cell therapy for Cardiomyopathy. Has any one heard about that, has any experience on this subject ?

I've been asked to get a coil but to be honest I don't want it. One of my close friends has endo and shes had the surgery to get tissue removed

Dienogest or Hysterectomy?
Hi everyone, thank you for sharing your journeys. I've said this before, but this forum is a massive support for me. I don't post often but it's the first thing I open in the morning and would be lost without the feeling g of support I get from you all. I was wondering if anyone has been on Dienogest

How to say I’ve got an ICD in my chest in different languages.
I’ll flash my card from the hospital but I was curious what other countries do for ICDs? I’m going over to Malaga for a few days so in Spanish I need to say (airport scanners etc); Tengo un DCI en mi pecho Which other countries have you had to explain your situation? What did you say?

Being in uni with endo is probably the worst Experience of my life. At only 20 years old ive been in and out of hospital on morphine since 2021 in constant pain. I recently just got the coil inserted and I’m in agony. I have missed so many classes, exams, content and labs. I feel so depressed because

Has anyone tried having both the IUD and pill at the same time? What was your experience?
Hi all, I hope you’re doing well 🤍 My surgeon recently has recommended taking the pill on top of the
IUD
to try manage the endo/adeno pain that is coming back two fold.

Permanent afib and ablation
Hello my husband has been in permanent afib for 5 years. He has had 2 cardioversions and one ablation. Never put him in normal sinus for even a minute. He recently had prostate surgery and because of hospitalizations he was without his digoxin for 2 doses. He has an ICD that is intended to shock

CRT-D or ICD
My husband had a pacemaker fitted on Wednesday this week. Came home last night with discharge papers on which it says a CRT-D was fitted yet on his GP records I see it says ICD was fitted. I’m rather concerned these statements are conflicting. Any ideas anyone please?

Onto IVF... What did you wish you knew/did before starting?
Hi all, Had a negative HPT this morning following our second IUI (I expected it but still 💔). Our clinic wants to move us onto IVF next. It feels mad, I'm 30 and in theory 'only' have PCOS - when we started treatment in January 2021 we were told we'd only need a little bit of help (Clomid) and now

Early Mirena removal advice?
However I am apprehensive to have my
IUD
taken out a year early because I have Anxiety (currently taking medication) and I’ve heard/read about the “Mirena crash”. Any tips or advice from somebody who has experienced it or is more informed than me?

No one is offering any answewers or help
Hey, just wanted some advice or similar stories. I've had endo for around 10 years 4 laparoscapys later and I've been told I can't have any more as it could cause too much damage. I use the contraceptive pill to manage the endo as I've tried pretty much everything else. They don't really want to help
