Finally got a follow up appointment …

After having my lap in October , another 5cm cyst was found 3 weeks later on ultrasound and I’ve been waiting for an app with the gynae ever since

I’ve finally been given a last minute appointment for Thursday with a locum gynae, and I’m so nervous he won’t take me seriously as my last gynae told me that having the lap and the coil was ‘the treatment’ - as I know a lot of non specialist gynaes say.

I’m in immense pain not only with the right side where the cyst is, but also what I suspect is bowel endo, that they refused to check for last time.

I also really want the coil taken out as it’s done nothing but make me bleed daily, gain weight and low mood, and I’m still in endo pain daily.

I wanted to ask about them referring me to my local endo specialist clinic, would they do this? I asked my GP about this and she said the hospital would have to do it , and the hospital would have to take my coil out too. I’m not expecting the local gynae to do anything because I think they’ll just say I’ve been treated.

Does anyone have any advice? I’m expecting to have to fight , as the story often goes with endo!
