Has anyone tried having both the IUD and pill at the same time? What was your experience?

Hi all, I hope you’re doing well 🤍

My surgeon recently has recommended taking the pill on top of the IUD to try manage the endo/adeno pain that is coming back two fold. I’ve had the IUD for two years now and it worked initially for a short period of time but now it’s making my period last for up to 2/3 weeks and the dull constant ache on my back, legs and belly is slowly making itself known. I am scared to take extra contraceptives because I haven’t yet had children, and although I don’t want children right now, I do want them in the future - and just taking this amount of contraceptives for me is wild and daunting. Has anyone had the experience of taking the pill and having the IUD? Did it help? And if anyone has had the experience of having children after taking this method of contraceptive for endo pain all welcome!

Yes I had Mirena coil and pop brilliant it really helped for 7 years def worth a try good luck.
