Can Iron tablets trigger AF?
I have now resumed sinus mode after a 36 hour episode. Thank you everybody for advice and encouragement. The GP has just started me on iron pills (Ferrous Fumarate 210 mg) for iron deficiency. I took the second tablet this morning and (as an overthinker) I realised my episode of AF coincided with

Iron supplement help
Have made a few posts here about hair loss/ low ferritin. I have ordered the three arrows iron repair to see if I can increase ferritin. Can anyone tell me from my recent results, if one 20mg capsule a day would push my other results over the range? Or would it take a much larger amount? I also take

B12 only half the battle -- and an odd symptom
Back story: I was B12, Folate, Vit. D deficient with extremely low Ferritin (9). These deficiencies have been going on for years and docs were pretty clueless, made me feel like I was a drama queen about it all, and I had an allergy to B12 shots. Was finally sent to a hematologist who was ON this -

Safe ropinerol taper ?
I am tapering ropinerol and am now down from 3 mg to 1 mg. I got here by accidentally going Cold Turkey for a week when I thought I was cutting ropinerol in half but actually had replaced it with another med. It was hell but I survived. Now I want to get totally off it. my ferritin when tested a month

Neurologist’s phone call
One of Dr Bagary’s team rang this afternoon. He listened to me and seemed to understand my situation.. l requested a switch from Temgesic to Subutex, but of course he will have to consult Dr Bagary which all takes time. I also discussed dosage with him as the two sorts of tablets come in different

Poor Conversion T4 to T3 update and supplement advice (Magnesium, Vit B complex, Vit C)
Nearly two months after my Medichecks blood tests and c5 weeks after GP blood test results (see previous posts) I've managed to get an answer from my GP - he has consulted the Endo at local hospital who says I'm a poor converter... Apparently current NHS guidance is to increase the amount of T4 I'm

Periods started back up again.
Hiah,Yesterday I started my menstrual cycle after a year of not having one due to taking the deceptoyl Injection and hrt. I had surgery in December and stage 3 was removed. I finished the injection and hrt in Feb and my period had only just come back. This time it has been different, the pain is there

GP Update
Spoken to a sensible GP. Will put a blood form out tomorrow for iron, B12 etc and then look at increasing Levothyroxine by 25mcg. They did try saying about TSH being within ‘normal’ range, however I was able to talk about T3/T4 etc. So thank you to everyone that has reached out and replied to me. I
