Would t3 benefit me? Latest bloods
hi, I have hashinotos and take 125mcg of thyroxine. I don’t feel great. I’ve just started a gluten free diet and take iron and folate as both were low. I’ve been taking them for 8 weeks and have just had the levels tested so can share all those results when I have them. I wondered if t3 may help me

Urgent help needed. Extremely severe RLS, cannot identify cause.
It's so goddamn severe that at this point, I either have the most severe case of RLS in medical history or it's something else. I rate it 9 on the severity scale. Did every possible test related to RLS (iron, vitamin D, etc) except for for transferrin saturation and serum iron because it wasn't available

iron test results help please
I must admit that even after a few years, while I mostly understand my thyroid test results, my iron tests continue to confuse me - I just can’t seem to get my head around the significance of the different parts. So I wondered if someone who actually understands could please explain in really simple

NDT toleration
Hello everybody, I would like to ask if there is anobody who has problem with NDT. My adrenals/iron are ok but NDT (just 1/2 grain) makes me anxious, heart palpitations, sleep issues. But on this amout of NDT I am not hyper. What can be problem? It is worth to try syntetic FT4 only or FT3 only? Thank you

Iron every or ever other night?
My RLS was getting so much better I'd managed to get down to just 3 Gabapentin (900mg) at night. However, recently I've had to go right up to 8 (2400mg) which leaves me literally reeling in the morning. I'm loathe to increase my iron too much, I hate the way it messes up my guts, but I'm now considering

Confusing iron panel results
Hi, guys, I'd like to ask for help interpreting my iron panel results. First of all, let me say that this is the first time ever that I have had these tests done, so I don't have anything to compare with. This is what the results look like: Hemoglobin: 155 g/l (reference range: 120 - 160 g/l) Serum

Ferratin level
Hi. Probably in t he wrong section but all thoughts welcome. My ferratin is in the 'normal' range but low and dropping, even though I have been taking oral iron spray daily, liquid iron supplement given by my doctor, high iron foods in my diet. I get days of complete fatigue, other days I can cope but

Iron and magnesium levels plus
Hi everyone. I recently had blood tests done as suggested and results have come back showing slightly low magnesium level at 0.68mmol/L and serum ferritin level of 60ng/ml. (Low?) I've been asked to go back for retest on the magnesium but no mention of the iron? Looking back on my test results I had

Potential adverse effects of long-term venesection used to treat PV.
I got curious after watching the Richard Silver presentation that was recently posted on the forum. Dr. Silver quoted some potential adverse effects from long-term use of venesection (AKA phlebotomy) to manage PV. I had seen those findings previously in the literature. I have also experienced some

Is it needed and safe for my mom to supplement with folate or B12?
Hi all! I haven't posted before but I've been reading for a few months and find everything really helpful. My mom has had both chemotherapy and radiation this last year, and now has many overlapping symptoms with b12 and folate deficiencies (fatigue, mild neuropathy for years, mild memory loss/confusion

'Interim' GP blood results and trying to draw conclusions
Hello, A GP I saw recently (long story but not same one who gave me increase in Levo) ordered bloods. I have been on 100 mcg of Accord for 4 weeks, so wasn't planning to test for another month. The following were tested, I've included the same NHS results for comparison earlier this year.: NHS

Long term plan
If you can manage to get down to a very low dose of pramipexole and get pregabalin to help you through, what is the long term plan? How long can you stay on pregabalin? How long do you go on taking iron? Reduce dose? Would be grateful for any advice. Les
