Severe stomach pain then a Lansoprazole prescription
Hi, in December I started experiencing severe pain just under my left breastbone (towards the centre). The pain was almost ‘stinging’ in nature. Like I had a paper cut which is dipped into vinegar. I had a racing heart/palpitations and truly had never experienced pain this bad. I also had pain lower

hi I’m waiting for an op for Adenomyosis and endo this year. I also have fibroids. I’m due for a full hysterectomy - including removal of ovaries and tubes. I gave a coil fitted but it’s not very effective due to the size of my uterus due to my condition. I am getting menopause symptoms but I’m not

My Recovery so far post Stem cell Transplant
Sorry I've been absent for so long, my stem cell transplant journey has been a difficult one to be honest and only now do I feel able to be able to tell the story so far. Thank you to everyone who kindly messaged me to see how I was and apologies for asking so long to respond. I really appreciated

Anyone had a coronary sinus reducer?
I haven't been on here in a long while. My medical history is pretty complex, I'm seen locally at the Bristol Heart Institute but also under the care of the Cardio-oncology team at the Royal Brompton which a forum member told me about years ago thankfully. Post Lap Conctraceptive
Hi everyone, I have tried a LOT of different pills.. and tried the coil which caused 9 months of pain everyday. My GP fobbed off Endo, and so I went private. Had my first Lap on the 18th Jan and they found moderate Endo and managed to remove most of it. The pill I am on now (Marvelon) was controlling

Pre gynaecologist advice
I'm getting ready for this appointment as I'm so fed up with pain and being dismissed as a making it up. So far I have had a lap done in my early 20s (I'm 46 now) knly through belly button which they said was clear and told it could actually cause endo to start. This was a general gynaecologist at small

Hysterectomy
What are the chances of the NHS giving me a hysterectomy? I'm fed up of being in pain all the time. Over the last 18 years I have tried the implant, injection, chemical menopause for 6 months, the coil and the patch. With each contraceptive the symptoms due down but then come back and ultimately now

Should I get frozen embryos PGA tested?
I’m going through IVF using donor sperm.. my first round I had one embryo transferred which was apparently the best quality which resulted in miscarriage at 12 weeks. I now have 5 frozen embryos to transfer.. which the clinic have graded differently to what I see others graded on this forum.. FB23

Having an IUS fitted with vaginismus, how to check for threads? and other concerns
Hello, According to two ultrasounds and one MRI scan, I've got both endometriosis and adenomyosis. They've tried different combined pills, the mini pill, and norethisterone, but none of them helped much or for long. The gynae has now suggested to fit an IUS. I don't like the idea, but I'm in so much

still having pain after lap a year ago
my daughter who was 15 at the time had a lap after pestering docs for a year and don’t think they expected to find any endo even I was a bit hesitant but yes they found a significant amount on one of her ovaries which they removed so they put the coil in and she still has periods every 40/50 days and

Coil removal - won't stop bleeding
Hiya, I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience/ can advise me at all. I had my mirena coil removed on the 26th January (wasn't sitting right with me, I had it in for almost 4 months) and since I seem to be non stop bleeding, I then seem to completely stop for a day and then it starts over again

What next? Advice on going abroad and different treatment plans after BFNs and poor egg quality.
A bit of a run down first… 5 years of fertility treatment for unexplained infertility. NHS Put on clomid - didn’t work and never should have been put on it because of thin lining issues. Covid stopped my treatment IUI - highest meriofert didn’t work as my lining wasn’t thick enough Ivf round

Gynae consultant says MRI is clear, but I've had endo treated before and I'm still in pain. Not sure what to do.
This is my first time posting here, trying to figure out what to do and would really appreciate any and all advice! I was first diagnosed with endo in 2015 when I ended up in A&E with the most excruciating pain. I had an internal scan in which they found a huge ovarian cyst - size of an orange, and

Mentally drained...
I had a laparoscopy 3 months ago and a coil fitted at the same time. My pains seem to have got worse, maybe coil related, so I had a doctors appointment again today and have got an examination booked for next week. I have been struggling with pains for 2 years, which I know isn't long in the grand scheme

Sorry for the long post… Yesterday I had a miscarriage after an IVF fresh transfer. (They said it was a top graded embryo, I used donor sperm). When I went to the EPU they confirmed that there was no pregnancy sac.. which I was expecting with the amount of blood etc. I was 11+6.. I had a scan at

Coil and Endometriosis
Hi all! I had my first laparoscopy back in May 2022 and I had a mirena coil put in as this was meant to help with the endo. A little background, it took me 9 years to be diagnosed and was put on every pill under the sun because my body would basically override it within 6-18 months. Having said that,
