What exactly are the differences between these two forms of medication - their action on the body, effects etc.? I had been on metformin for several years to control my type 2 diabetes. About 2 years ago the doctor asked me to switch to Dibizide M 1/2 - 0 - 1/2 and metformin (250) 0 - 1 - 0. Since taking

Axumin PET Scans?
Hey guys, After my last appt in Feb, my PSA had risen from .05 to 0.1. My urologist suggested that we wait before proceeding to the next decision point until we get a second consecutive rise in PSA. That appointment is scheduled in May. Today I got a call from the scheduler at my urologist's office

Call for National Standard for End of Life Care in NHS
Baroness Finlay, the chair of the National Council for Palliative Care and a supporter of MyDirectives' goals brought out a powerful report last week calling for national standards for end of life care in England. Inevitably the report also highlighted poor communication and planning around end of life
