Canteen Services for Diabetics/LCHF Diet

Hi,

Are there any canteen services, restaurants or such things catering specifically to diabetics or providing menus/meals as per LCHF Diet. Are people interested to have such services ?

which city you based/live in? on the sidelines, my advice, refrain from eateries other than wholesome HOME-cooked meals; there's no hygiene in restaurants, only God knows what kind of oils, ghee, ingredients used? many other factors too,

In Europe you will get diet cokes , Tea and coffee without sugar and may be other foods with low calorie, biscuits etc. But in India (although is called Capital of Diabetes - highest nos. of diabetic people in the world ) anywhere you go (except very posh hotels & airport lounges -that too may not be always) - gatherings,parties,including hospitals , you will never get any food or drink which suits diabetics. No question of diabetic canteens . But it's a good idea you can start a chain of such canteen worldwide . You need a food technologist and a calorie specialist.

May be not exclusively for D people but all the hotels restaurants etc should put blue dot on the items suitable for us.

Some time back there was a mention about some one planning to open a LCHF exclusive restaurant for Diabetics in Bangalore. I do not know the status now, May be someone who knows about it can enlighten people.
