Can I take B12 deficiency test after consuming B12 supplements for 3 weeks
Hi, I was wondering if I could go for a b12 test after having taken supplements for 3 weeks daily. If not how long should I wait. Also I would like to check for iron deficiency. So what could be the right kind of test for me?

B12 levels after loading dose
I have recently had my 5 loading B12 injections for vitamin B12 deficiency. My starting level was 167 and after a blood test after 2 weeks of finishing they were 1227. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if this is normal. I unfortunately have had very little information from my Doctor's so any help

Body Aches with Pernicious Anaemia when B12 is running very low
I often experience body aches and chills similar to cold / flu type symptoms when my B12 levels are low and my injection is due. I always get paranoid that I am becoming ill or catching a cold only to then realise I am due my B12 jab. I have been having B12 injections every 3 months for almost 5 years

Do you only need B12 injections if you have pernicious anaemia? How long does it take for B12 to be lost after an injection?
About 28 years ago, after around a year or more on proton pump inhibitors, I saw a gastroenterologist who diagnosed a small hiatus hernia and low B12. He said I should have B12 injections for 2 years to see if the problem rectified itself. With regular blood tests after the 2 years my B12 level was

Worth Going to Hematologist for B12 deficiency? (USA)
20F Lately been disappointed by the quality of my care from my neurologist about the b12 deficiency specifically. A year prior when I was first diagnosed with B12 + ferritin deficiency and macrocytic anemia, I was told I could try seeing hematology about it. I didn’t end up doing that for various reasons

Severely weak. Can I try heme iron peptides?
Could my trembling/vibrations/debility be caused by iron deficiency as ferritin was 17 (saturation n iron stores also on lower side). I also feel cold. After taking iron, I feel almost normal for sometime n the trembling lessens too, then again feel weak by evening. if I don't take the iron in evening

Need help raising Iron
Hi all. I've taken a few tests in the past weeks and am at a loss over how slowly iron has been going up. First took an NHS test, which was taken at 11am on 18 Feb. I heard 10.15am on the phone, but turns out it was planned for 10.50am, yikes. Once I got seated the blood was drawn at 11am. No

First visit to a neurologist for B12 deficiency
I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency Oct 2020, had loading injections, as orally supplements had on effect, which cured some symptoms, but not all. Been referred to a private neurologist this Saturday. What should I expect and what should I be asking?
