Severely weak. Can I try heme iron peptides?
Could my trembling/vibrations/debility be caused by iron deficiency as ferritin was 17 (saturation n iron stores also on lower side). I also feel cold. After taking iron, I feel almost normal for sometime n the trembling lessens too, then again feel weak by evening. if I don't take the iron in evening

Stopping d3 and b12 before blood test
Hi there, I have thyroid and vitamin blood tests next week, I know to stop my Igennus B complex a week before, Levo 24 hours before test and last dose of daily t3 8-12 hours before. Need help raising Iron
Hi all. I've taken a few tests in the past weeks and am at a loss over how slowly iron has been going up. First took an NHS test, which was taken at 11am on 18 Feb. I heard 10.15am on the phone, but turns out it was planned for 10.50am, yikes. Once I got seated the blood was drawn at 11am. No

First visit to a neurologist for B12 deficiency
I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency Oct 2020, had loading injections, as orally supplements had on effect, which cured some symptoms, but not all. Been referred to a private neurologist this Saturday. What should I expect and what should I be asking?

barely any pain, mostly discomfort and restlessness. anyone else?
also, has anyone had experience with
inderal
making their symptoms worse at this low dose? i’m not taking it for RLS, it’s just there in case my heart rate and blood pressure spike.

Is it safe to take different types of b12 injections
I'm in the UK and I get my b12 Neo-Cytamen or Hydroxocobalamin from my GP. I got my last b12 online but I cant find this b12 for injections. Is it ok to take another form of b12 for injections at the same time? Does anyone have the link to buy B12 for injections?

Am I overmedicating with iron? Need help.
Hi, I am worried I am overmedicating with my iron supplements. I had a blood test done and it came back with high levels of transferrin saturation: Serum iron-30.6 (11-36) Ferritin-61 (14-148) Serum TIBC-53.3 (53-85) Transferrin saturation -57.4 (20-40) I am wondering if I should stop my supplementing

hi I had low active b12, enlarged red blood cells and loads of symptoms. started the shots about six months ago. lots of symptoms left. but at the time I didn't check homocysteine or MMA or anything else to then have actual proof that I did have a deficiency. as now some people refuse to believe me as

High blood levels of B12
Hi everyone, Not new here but just a little background - I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency back in 2014, I managed to produce enough evidence to satisfy my GP that I could not manage on 2 - 3 monthly injections and so I am able (currently) to access enough B12 for my needs, but this could soon change

Anyone tried liposomal iron or sucrosomial iron to increase their ferritin level?
Does it have better bioavailability and result in a greater rise in the ferritin level than other iron forms?

RDW in blood tests.
Hi, does anyone have any knowledge about Red blood cell distribution width (RDW) in blood tests. Are they standard in NHS blood tests. How useful are they in diagnosis of b12, folate and iron deficiencies? If MCV isn't always reliable when you have iron and b12 and/or folate deficiency. Could RDW be

Does B12 deficiency deplete iron levels?
Hi everyone ! I’m a bit stumped regarding my newest iron panel results (below). First of all, I’ve been supplementing with 60 mg every other day and having an iron rich diet with vitamin C. Even so, my levels have been dropping quite dramatically: 09/29/2020 Total Iron 92 ug/dL (50-212) Iron Binding
