Iron Injections
Does anyone know the effectiveness of iron injections to help with RLS when all other medications have failed? My saturated iron level is low although the ferritin level, while normal is on the low normal side.

Possible B12 deficiency, looking for recommended test list before B12 shot
I ran across someone posting on Reddit who has symptoms that might be from B12 deficiency... tingling, fatigue, etc. He's vegan, his serum B12 tested high, but he's taking daily B12 supplements so his serum test might not be accurate. I recommended trying a B12 shot to see if it helped, but then I

Am I taking too much vitamins?
I have no Idea what the weird numbers mean after it apart from ug. I included these incase it makes sense to someone else. I'm low in Vitamin D and iron , I always have been since a kid. I've only just noticed what each of the packet says , more concerned with taking both the multivitamin and the

How to increase ferritin levels?
Hello I was supplementing iron myself to get my ferritin levels up but just been warned not to as I am post-menopausal. My ferritin was 65 (20-300). My Hb was 126 (114-150). Thought I had to get my ferritin up higher for my hypothyroidism. How do I do this please if I'm not to supplement iron? Or is

Can B12 lozenges lose potency?
After blood tests revealed a severe B12 deficiency last year, I started taking B12 sublingual lozenges. I've been taking one a day (Seeking Health Hydroxo B12 2000 mcg). I experienced very good results and saw the vast majority of my deficiency-related issues steadily go away and stay away....until recently

Need to stop vitamin D before a vitamin D blood test?
Hello do I need to stop taking my vitamin D supplement before a vitamin D blood test? They are also doing a full blood count, liver function and creatinine. So I know I need to stop B vitamins and iron a week before. Wasn't sure re vitamin D.

Functional b12 deficiency
Hi All Having been refused injections due to my surgery closing during the pandemic I was put on twice daily 50ml b12 tablets. My b12 level has been checked after 18 weeks without an injection and found to be 956 which is above the recommended high level of 800. I think this proves that I am able to

Veggie since 11 years old , have symptoms of B12 deficiency, yet levels are normal.
Hi l have been a veggie since 11 years old, and since my 40's l have had all the symptoms of B12 deficiency, but when l got tested it came back normal, how can a person who has not eaten meat since 11 years old now 53 have normal levels, yet have symptoms of B12.

PS Hypo & tinnitus
Just found posts on this subject. Vitamin B deficiency seems prime culprit. I take a combo of Vit, B1 + B6 + B12. I get Vitamin D through sun exposure (a lot of it in Greece). I also take Folacin, Iron & vitamin C.

Any ideas please why I have High or Over Range B12 Results, despite only taking 10 ug B12 a day?
Hi All Still looking for an answer for muscle aches! I've come to the B12 forum, after a kind member suggested my B12 numbers may be too high, considering I only take 10 ug B12 a day My last 4 Active B12 Medichecks readings (roughly every 3 months starting from Feb 19) are Feb 19 - 200 May 19 - 195
