Weaning off inderal

, I in the course of weaning off from Inderal and at the same time the endocrine also cut my thyroid medication , being Eurothyroid two weeks ago

i am now inderal from 10 mg to 5 mg but having difficulties following the plan. Stop 5 every other day for 1 weeks, then stop 5 mg every two days , the stop every three days then stop. Actually, my sleep improving when reducing the OInderal from 10mg to 7 mg then 5 mg. But when I stop 5mg abruptly, I felt I cant make it.

I felt sleepless, heart beat increase a bit the next morning but feeling better in the afternoon. I have a chat with the pharmacy who suggest I should cut is slowly and bit by bit. The pharmacy say I can cut it 5mg to 3.5 until I feel comfortable.. So I cut it from 5 to almost 3.5 and cut the dose gradually. The pharmacies say although it is not that accurate, as long as I don't feel unwell , cutting below 5mg won't harm me,

The endocrinologists further suggest me to cut it to 2.5 and try the withdrawal plan again. However, my GP had a very strange view. He advised me to increase the dose back to 5mg then restart the plan stop every other day for 2 week , the every two days for 2 weeks, then very three days for 2 weeks then stop. I felt strange...and I am afraid this would cause big fluctuation.

Can anyone share their experience with weaning off inderal..Thanks...Is the plan of my GP or endocrinologists a kind of typical withdrawal plan and , did anyone successfully withdraw from inderal either taking it for anxiety or hypertension or hyperthyroidism?

How long were you taking Inderal prior to weaning off?

I have hyperthyroidism, take it when heart rate over 125....., in 15/7 take 10 mg then reduce to around 3.5 to 3 mg now . eurothyroid thyroid now I think I had taken it for around 12 weeks starting at 10 mg then 7 mg then 5 mg and recently 3.5 mg after chatting with the pharmacy...I cannot tolerate stopping at 5 mg abruptly .
