Next steps, what to ask on review appointment? + Birmingham IVF clinic recommendations (Please DM)
as background, DH was diagnosed with oligozoospermia: low morphology (1%) and low count, this was main reason to send us to
ICSI
. No other further studies made on the MF. I was told I have PCO but no PCOS (regular periods and ovulation) .

Hi Guys, I have had a positive test since 6dp5dt on my first fresh IVF/
ICSI

Buserelin and exhaustion!
Hi everyone, just started on my first cycle of IVF with
ICSI
. On day 9 of buserelin injections (although I took the wrong dose for the first 3 days - not enough) and experiencing incredible exhaustion. Have had early nights all week and went to bed last night at 7:30 so had nearly 12 hours sleep!

the never ending hurdles
When we did our 2nd
icsi
cycle we were told there was a 2% chance of total fertilisation failure, well, we were the 2% and none of our eggs fertilised.

Subclinical hypothyroidism and IVF
Hi, We’ve had 1 round of IVF/
ICSI
which we were referred for due to my partner’s low sperm count. Our first embryo transfer was unsuccessful but we have another one frozen. The clinic asked me to get my Vit D and thyroid levels tested by the GP before FET.

Just started NHS referral process for IVF / ICSI and looking for some advice
- Does the NHS fund
ICSI
or just IVF? Seems with our situation that
ICSI
might be the better choice but I can’t tell whether the NHS would fund this. - How long did it take you from referral to embryo transfer? - Would you recommend telling people that you’re going through the process?

1st Long protocol ivf cycle fail
got 6eggs and only 1 fertilised which was a top grade embryo which was transferred on day 3.We had our review consultation today and consultation said all my tests through that cycle was great for my age and has suggested that we choose different sperm, go for antagonist approach this time, and do

Total fertilisation failure ICSI
We are absolutely devastated to find out today that we have had total fertilisation failure with our 5 eggs and
ICSI
. How is this possible? I am finding it difficult to come to terms with. Our first round we got 7 eggs and 100% fertilisation.

Any experience of artificial oocyte activation (AOA) to improve ICSI fertilisation rates?
Hello, after badgering our new clinic to take a look at our notes from previous cycles I've just had a follow up call with the consultant. He's sure I've been put on the right protocol (Flare with maximum dose) but also mentioned we could consider AOA if we wanted as our main challenge has been fertilisation

Cramping at 10 weeks
Hi everyone I’m currently 10+3 after a successful
ICSI
cycle. I am getting a bit worried about cramps that have started today and have continued all day. I have had the odd twinge and cramp along the way, but they haven’t really lasted long - whereas these cramps have lingered today.

lost and broken
When I spoke to the embryologist yesterday and asked her why my eggs did not fertilise she responded that we would need to do
ICSI
. Let me tell you ladies, we paid £500 for the DNA fragmentation test which showed my partner to be literally perfect 3 weeks prior.

second opinions
The consultant told me to not try ivf/
icsi
with OE again and that my age (36) plus a potential genetic disorder was the problem and the reason for my pitted terrible eggs. I was devastated.

Create IVF/ICSI - One mild IVF cycle Vs Three Cycle embryo banking. Pros and Cons?
Hi Everyone I hope you are ok, I have spoken with Create fertility one cycle is £6265 and a three cycle is about £18k - (so saving 795) To me that price is eye wateringly expensive? Question: Is the benefit of doing the three cycle just time? I am concerned that my embryo/blastocyst rate is poor
