Two rounds. 7 eggs. ONE EARLY BLASTOCYST. failed fresh transfer. Should we DNA fragmentation test before moving to the next stage?
I don’t know the recent figures off hand but they were pretty bad - we were having
ICSI
. The embryologist seems to think the sperm looked ok….and blamed the eggs...but Im so not convinced.

6 weeks pregnant and no heartbeat
Hi all, After 3 years TTC and issues getting NHS funding, we finally started our IVF journey using
ICSI
. I'm a pessimist and had low expectations, so I was thrilled when we got our BFP!! I am now 6 weeks pregnant.

failure....
So we decided to try donor eggs and
ICSI
. We scraped the money together and took the plunge - and it did not take. Now we are in the position of wanting to try again but of having no money to do so - and to be paying back a loan each month with nothing but pain to show for it.

My partner does have only 3% morphology but apparently that is a minor issue as we're using

New clinic not interested in seeing notes from previous rounds at another clinic... is this normal?
Hello, we're just starting our final ever round of
ICSI
and decided to try a new clinic. We've done 4 egg collections and 5 embryo transfers (2 fresh, 3 frozen) through another clinic.

Endo help
I’m definitely repeating myself here (sorry), but looking for some reassurance 💛 As a back story, I’m 36, have endometriosis and 3 x failed rounds of ivf/
icsi
which includes 2 x transfers (top quality) and 4 pgta tested abnormal embryos.

DNA fragmentation worth it?
We already have to have
ICSI
due to the sperm count, so I’m just wondering if there is any benefit to a DNA fragmentation test if it won’t make any difference to the treatment?

self funded NHS route vs private clinics: pros & cons ?; quality of treatment, costs & Time
the consultant mentioned my husband had a low sperm count /morphology & advised
ICSI
but asked my partner to have karyotping /cystic fibrosis blood tests done first, we're still waiting on these results since April as they said it would take 6-8 weeks.

*Sensitive* - Missed miscarriage at 9 week scan, looking for hope and direction
I haven't posted for a while but just feel the need to share and seek some light at a dark time After transferring our 5th and final embryo from our first round of
ICSI
(due to severe male factor issues), we were overjoyed to find out that at last we had a positive test with good HCG levels all achieved

*sensitive for some* Starting IVF again after IVF miscarriage
It was our 5th and final embryo from a first round of
ICSI
due to severe male factor infertility (Azoospermia). We're very lucky to have a second funded round on the NHS and consultant has booked us in to start stimulation around 20th May.

mature eggs vs collected
We are doing
ICSI
I’m not sure if that makes a difference and our ckinic is in Cyprus. Just feeling pretty rubbish tbh. It feels like a lot to go through for 6 eggs. Previously I’ve had 1st round 18 eggs - 9 blast - 1 live birth. Second round 38 eggs, 4 blast 0 life births - all different clinics….

Spotting early and slow slow periods
We’ve identified quite severe male factor issues and so went for
ICSI
and we ought to be having another try soon.

What to do
I was told we need
ICSI
and caremaps. Our odds are too low for a refund scheme. Its impacting everything in my daily life including my job as a primary teacher. I now have to weigh up if its worth continuing this as I worry about the emotional toll of it failing and need to feel normal again.

Has anyone had more fertilised eggs 2nd time round with ICSI?
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone undergoing
ICSI
had a more successful round of fertilised eggs 2nd time round and if there was anything you done differently?

Cycle buddies?
This is our third attempt for a sibling for my 3 year old daughter who was the result of our fourth attempt at IVF/
ICSI
. I'm planning on taking time of work for the whole of March (which they don't know yet because it's a very unsupportive organisation).

Subclinical hypothyroidism and IVF
We’ve had 1 round of IVF/
ICSI
which we were referred for due to my partner’s low sperm count. Our first embryo transfer was not successful. We have a frozen embryo, but the clinic advised I get my Vit D and thyroid levels tested before transfer by my GP.
