Looking for fertility hope
Husband has severe Oats which is basically very very very low sperm count, so have to have
icsi
. I've since found out through ivf testing that I have a follicle count of 7. The normal range for my age is 25-30. Only got 2 eggs on first ivf cycle which failed.

Nurse consultation - cycle timescales
We’re part way through our journey and it’s been agreed that we are to be put forward for
ICSI
. We have our nurse consultation 21/09. I’m just wondering what timescales people have experienced after the consultation before starting a cycle. We are first time NHS patients based in the north

I’m back at work today angry 6 months at home following an ectopic, covid and another failed
ICSI

No eggs fertilised
I think we will have to try
ICSI
next time. Be good to hear anything positive from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

Ding Ding Round 3!! Low AMH 🎢
Our first round of
ICSI
in May 2019 resulted in my beautiful little boy who is now nearly 8 months old. I had round 2 back in June/July 2020 which was a disaster (detailed in previous posts). So now it’s time for round 3.

Egg health / sperm health at day 3 post transfer
I have read that anything (bad) that happens to embryos up to 3 days after IVF/
ICSI
is likely to be caused by the sperm , and anything after 3 days it has more to do with the eggs. Is this right? I have also read the opposite too!!!!!

Only 1 egg - ICSI or IVF?
My question is, if you had only 1 egg would you use
ICSI
/AOA again or opt for IVF instead? My 3rd cycle ended up with only 1 follicle responding and we got 1 egg, but that time I used IVF not
ICSI
and it fertilised.

First ICSI failed :(
I have finally gotten my head around my first cycle failing. I had 12 eggs collected, 4 were mature, none fertilised. Devastated is not the word however I am positive to try again! Has anyone else had this and have had success stories on a new cycle? They basically said my egg didn’t activate...

ivf - poor embryo development
We considered
ICSI
but our fertilisation rate is good so the embryologist recommended
ICSI
wouldn't improve outcome as it focuses on fertilisation and not embryo growth. It might be worth adding. By day 3 we usually have around 3-4 good embryos but the growth slows down/stops.

Bit of hope that all of the veg has been worth it - latest semen analysis
We have been told that we will find out on the day of egg collection whether it will be IVF or
ICSI
but our consultant is pushing for
ICSI
. We are so happy with the count results, but anyone managed to increase the morphology at all?

In such a dilemma
I had
icsi
(male factor) in 2015 & it worked first time. I have a beautiful daughter. I had 4 grade 5 & 4 aa embryos frozen for the future but they all failed. I’m 42 in December. My AMH is 22 which the consultant in Chester said is really good.

Still waiting for NHS appointment
We had our first failed
ICSI
cycle in December and as we are only eligible for 1 NHS funded cycle in Birmingham, we had a consultation in Feb and then paid for next cycle and had consent signing booked for March. The day before our appointment, they cancelled due to lockdown.Since they have been allowed

Sensitive... I think ?
Hi all, I had my transfer one week ago today so I think that makes me 7 days past transfer (first
ICSI
) Transfer of a 5 day blastocyst so trigger shot (ovitrelle) was the previous Thursday evening.

Do I have grounds to complain?
get my first ever internal scan where they find a huge polyp -I'd had heavy periods for 18 months prior to this so assume it's been there the whole time causing no implantation of potential embryo -surgery (twice) to remove -go through ivf July 2020 due to covid -6 eggs collected 5 fertilised with
