We have paid for Icsi now at another clinic and I am honestly petrified. really need Hope :-( due to start end November

Hey, I am writing this on behalf of my sister as she is on the fence about starting IVF via ICSI. She has had an appointment and the doctor has told her about the many side effects this treatment can have on herself and the baby if the treatment is successful.

Any good experience using macs instead regular icsi? I have seen success stories with imsi and other with macs, which it is quite confusing!

previously had 10 eggs fertilise with ICSI and one embryo, so he’s suggesting this to try and optimise the conversion to blastocyst. Any advice welcome!

Sadly only 2 were mature and because we had a low number of eggs we were advised to do ICSI. We had the call this morning that neither had shown signs of fertilisation, but they would check again tomorrow.

We had icsi so don’t know if having icsi would overcome a low morphology? thanks for your time x

I had two failed ICSI cycles and I am scheduled for a frozen embryo transfer in October. Unfortunately the grading is not great (day 6 4CB) but I’ve been reading a lot about aspirin and how it’s meant to help implantation. Any success stories?

And secondly, it appears that low AMH is a more common factor that affects fertility and is discussed here but does anyone have any experience of a more average AMH level and IVF/ICSI outcomes? Thanks in advance!

Since the egg retrieval on Thursday I am struggling mentally as on 9 eggs, 6 have been fertilised but at day 3 on Sunday they told us they are all developping in an abdormal way so we will probably dont have any transfer… I didnt anticipate this to happen on all

I've just completed a 2nd ICSI cycle but this time on a short protocol of a 3 day 2 x embryo transfer. This time I had an increase in stimulation drugs but unfortunately the cycle failed.

It's our third cycle of ICSI. I knew something was not quite right this round of ICSI as very bloated and very tired. I had been going in clinic every day since Day 10 of stimulation injection for blood tests and ultrasounds . 20 eggs were collected but only two made to fair quality blastocysts.

After 2 failed ICSI cycles we had a consultation with another clinic today who have today suggested use of pergoveris or meriofort for next cycle to inc number of eggs. Been on ovaleap so far. Produced 5 eggs cycle one and 7 eggs cycle two. AMH 10, I'm 38.

Hi, this is my first cycle of IVF/ICSI due to male factor infertility. I went for my day 5 scan and my follicles are still very small. I started nasal spray for down regulation day 21 of cycle and stims with gonal f on 12th July (225IU) Has anyone any experience in this? Thanks!

Since the egg collection, I have been researching ICSI and I'm slightly concerned about the risks/research... increased chance of miscarriage, egg damage, learning difficulties, inheriting male infertility etc!

I had 11 eggs in total, 9 were mature, and 3 fertilised using ICSI and AOA. I’ve not heard anything from the clinic, and think I should get an update tomorrow. If all of the embryos had stopped developing, do you think they would have contacted me?
