ICSI and natural conception
Hello, had our appointment in Shrewsbury last week where they went through our results and told us our only option is
ICSI
. I have a couple questions I was hoping someone can help with: 1. Has anyone had
ICSI
before that can reassure me?? 2.

Assisted Oocyte Activation
Has anyone had this along with their
ICSI
procedure? Got not so great news today at our followup.... they think even with
Icsi
the fertilisation might be low so they are adding this procedure called assisted oocyte activation.

Shocked and confused to say the least
We've had
ICSI
due to my partner's sperm but never had AMH before. Also the follicle count has reduced from 22 to 12 which tells me that my fertility has declined rapidly since last year. We are going down the sperm donor route as we never considered that I would have fertility issues as well.

The waiting game!
We had our first failed round of
ICSI
just over a month ago and are still waiting for our follow up appointment at the clinic. I think this has been a wait I didn't anticipate and we feel very alone.

Advice needed....1st post
Already frustrated and embarrassed I have me appointment they didn’t seem to concerned that he was not there and we discussed his history, my history and I had some tests and said basically from his results the options would be
icsi
or sperm donor.

Newbie saying hello
We are on our first round of
icsi
and I'm on day 13 of stimming with menopor. We have a scan later today to check follicles as they are growing slowly and on Friday they saw what they think is a polyp. We were gutted as may mean further delays.

What do clinics offer after pregnant from IVF? Meds and tests etc
Hi all After our positive test on Saturday after our
ICSI
cycle I'm still overjoyed but the anxiety and worry has firmly kicked in! My clinic stops pessaries after the 2ww so I'm on no medication and also I haven't been offered any blood tests or anything to confirm the result.

Low amh & mild ivf/icsi
I was wondering if anyone out there with low amh has successfully tried mild ivf and/or
iCSI
. Or can shed some light on the process? We had it first failed cycle this summer and are now looking at private clinics. We had consultation this week and were recommended mild ivf.

Feeling vulnerable after egg collection
So I had my egg collection this morning and although 9 were harvested, only 4 maybe 5 were good enough to fertilise and with
ICSI
only about 70% to make it to blastocyte stage.

Hello Ladies!
Since our failed
ICSI
last july I've been keeping busy & still reading all the ups & downs of all of you on here. So we've managed to save up enough money again to have a second fresh cycle. I'm due my day 0 scan today.

What next?
just had our second follow up appt after failed
ICSI
. Had blood tests for immune, chromosome, thyroid and everything fine. They didn't test amh and apparently that's £66. Wanted to know what our chances are of natural conception given am 41.
