Referred for ICSI due to male factor infertility
Myself and my partner have been referred for
ICSI
due to extremely low sperm count. We are both struggling with this realisation and I had expected we would be offered some treatment prior to
ICSI
but due to the severity of my partners condition this sadly isn’t the case.

Finance in UK vs fitting treatment abroad around work? 🤷🏻♀️
So I’m back to looking at IVF treatment with
ICSI
overseas (likely Greece or Cyprus for cost) which I’d previously researched at the fertility show, with Emma Haslam’s podcasts and via FNUK, but my concerns are: 1) fitting in around work if I don’t stay the whole time of the treatment as work is tricky

Pain residing after egg collection
Hi all, I had my first ever egg collection on Monday, they got 9 eggs, 7 of which have fertilised via
ICSI
. Got our fingers crossed that we should have some 5 day blastocysts for transfer this Saturday 🤞I wanted to check others experiences of recovery post egg collection.

First Round - ICSI - No Blastocysts day 6 :(
First round of
ICSI
- collected 3 eggs (i'm pretty sure some were too small to justify going in as three are the minimum requirement) And I don't think my medication was correct TBH - as I was on hold to start as a last min colposcopy had to be done as my smear test results came back low grade Anyway

First IVF/ICSI, Long Protocol, 22mm endometrium thickness
This is my first cycle ever. I was told at my last scan my endometrial lining is too thick 22mm, and I might have to freeze embryo after retrieval, anyone has experienced this before?

I've researched a few in Prague, costs for
icsi
are very reasonable and its not to far from the UK and flights not to expensive. Any tips or recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance

Low AMH downhearted 4th round
My husband and I are aware of the genetic risks and are so desperate at this point that we are self funding a non genetic tested round with
icsi
due to issues on husband's side. I had my AMH tested again before Christmas and found out yesterday I have a count of 5.1 when it was 13 two years ago.

Deciding on my next IVF protocol - advice
My first IVF
ICSI
cycle recently failed because my two only embryos didnt make it to the blastocyst stage. They were fine until about day 4 and then they arrested. I will be 42 in about 3 months and have AMH levels about 7.

Another baby.
Hi all, I have my son who is 3 by
ICSI
treatment but I’d love another baby, only thing is we haven’t got £10,000 to spend! What do I do?! Also trying so hard to work out if it’s the best for us, what if it doesn’t work?

male factor investigations
hiya My partner’s sperm morphology and count is low and we’ve had an unsuccessful round of
Icsi
on nhs (I also have pcos but egg quality was good, thankfully). Fortunately we have funding for another cycle.

When to test and hope needed
It's our 4th round of
ICSI
and I'm nearly 41 so I think we'd probably only do one more round before moving on to adoption.

Fresh versus Frozen ET & implantation issues
My partner and I are planning to start our 4th
ICSI
round in the next month or two. For context, I'm 41 in November, no fertility medical issues myself apart from age now and BMI of 31. It's a male factor infertility due to poor morphology, motility and number.

Overseas for donor embryos
Specifically, I have been dreaming of a sibling for my
icsi
sperm donor miracle baby now almost 3. I've run out of healthy eggs at 43 probably, and well, ivf is just hard.! Also, I have tried and tested my remaining blasts from my girls batch which all failed to implant.

Things that made a difference...
IVF not
ICSI
(unless male factor). I think
ICSI
is overused. I did one round of
ICSI
and my fertilisation rate tanked from 85% to 30%. My doctor advocates for ordinary IVF where possible. 8. One last thing- I took expensive NAD supplements - Tru Niagen - one round.

Donor Egg - mixed feelings
We have done
ICSI
and used embryo glue had endometrial scratch had extra progesterone support and steroids and also down regulated before the FET. So I feel like we have done everything we can and have run out of new things to do now.

First IVF Cyle - Endo sufferer - What should I be doing to prepare?
His recent fertility results show his morphology and mobility is below the normal level ☹ I found out on Friday that we have been approved for 1 round of private
ICSI
cycle. Delighted, honestly… it feels likes the months of hard work have been worth it for this chance.
