We’ve been ttc for 13 months now (I’m nearly 39, OH is 40) and have been told we should have
icsi
due to poor motility. We’ve decided to go with self funded treatment as the wait for NHS is unbearably long.

Anyone with dna fragmentation actually give birth and conceive?
My hubby has poor motility and dna fragmentation and I have read about
ICSI
macs and picsi and micro tesa but never read stories of people actually conceiving with dna fragmentation. Anyone have a success story and if so what did you do?

Any success story on the first try of ICSI?
Anyone had a success on the first ever try on
ICSI
? Getting crazy :( it’s so hard to wait day 5 for transfer and we have only 3 top quality embryos for day 3 but now I’m afraid that they can’t go on day 5 :( feel just a little bit scared and emotional :(

3-day embryo transfer success stories - double transfer
Our cycle only retrieved 3 eggs in total (from 5 large follicles) and 2 fertilized with
ICSI
so not allot to choose from and feeling pretty deflated!. I have read that it's usually 7/8 cell embryos that are successful on day 3? Has anyone had success with 6 and 5 cells.

Egg collection results - Ladies please help!
I had my egg collection yesterday, 11 eggs were collected out of which 8 were injected with
ICSI
and 4 have fertilised. Is that normal? Shouldn’t I have had more fertilise? I’d love to say I’m happy but feel nervous. Your thoughts and help please xx

3rd bfn - this just gets harder each time
All out tests come back fine and although we’re using frozen sleek which is immobile,
icsi
is meant to overcome that issue.

1dp5dt ... Already having a panic on.
I did imsi instead of
icsi
, had endo scratch, taken time off work. Yesterday we were so positive that this is the one. Our little cluster if cells/fluid seems much brighter than my last scan. I'm calmer this cycle so far but still feel like it's failed and I'm so scared by that.

Baseline scan booked! Hallelujah!
I'm going to clarify were 100% having imsi instead of
icsi
. They keep saying
icsi
every time I ring! Feel like it's been a long time coming since my FET in July. So need this to work this cycle. I'm scared to set myself up for a fall. It's slowly driving a wedge between us. Just thinking out aloud

Short Protocol IVF/ICSI,Scan and working days/hours.
Hello everyone, It’s a long write up so pardon me. Its finally happening for me soon, I am so excited my twin sister will be starting in December(privately funded) and myself in January(NHS). I got a call yesterday from the nurse at the clinic saying I was going to be on short protocol, the reason I

Guilt of only having 1 child (Born via ICSI) So grateful but sad for my child.
So after a 7 year struggle & 3 mmc I finally gave birth to my darling daughter after our first round of IVF. I appreciate how blessed I am & she is more than enough for me. Love her more than life itself. I'm 43 now so know my chances of IVF success would be slim ( husband is against DE big time) but

How have you coped with IVF not working?
We just got a BFN from final round of
icsi
. We do have a 3 year old, but we wanted a sibling for him. Tried frozen embryos, then 2 fresh cycles.

Success with icsi - low sperm count/morph/motility?
I am looking to hear about any success stories with
icsi
when OH has low count/morph/motility. I am 40 and realistic about my chances. We already have a naturally conceived 5year old. We've been trying for 3 1/2 years and are now 3 weeks in to treatment.

Conception with DNA Fragmentation - ICSI max and IMSI
My husband and I have tried
ICSI
and embryos arrested on day 3 most likely due to husbands poor sperm dna - we have had a dna fragmentation test. Has anyone conceived despite having dna Fragmentation? If so how and what method worked for you?

How to prevent OHSS
Hi ladies, I am so so pleased to say that we have been given our dates for our next round of
icsi
, I'm on the pill now and baseline scan next month! I am so relieved to be able to have another go at having our family, although I am petrified that the same will happen again.

EC day... Biggest rollercoaster ever!
We had high fertilisation rate last time using
icsi
13/16 but by day 5 only 3 to freeze. This is so much of a rollercoaster. Feel like I'm holding on by a thread. Now starting to put a serious strain on our relationship to the point it could split us up.

To tinzaparin or not to tinzaparin?
Quick background: the way we're doing it is my wife's eggs (
ICSI
this time), my womb, ta da. She's hyperstimulated and feels absolutely awful but we're due for egg collection on Wednesday.
