No positive ovulation test?
We seem to be the poster couple for strange situations in our IVF/
ICSI
journey. For context - Following my previous posts (1 failed fresh transfer overlapping into a failed natural pregnancy) we were given the option of natural or medicated for our next transfer (embryo 2 of 4).

is this a chemical pregnancy?
I had all the implantation pain this cycle of
ICSI
and I’ve been feeling sick and no appetite but my boobs are no longer painful so I’m worried that this hasn’t worked. Or could it be late implantation ? Any advice would be gratefully received. OTD is Friday 16th. Xxx thank you cxx

Any success stories with a 5 day compacting embryo not reached blastocyst stage?
This is our last shot for a sibling (have a 3 year old daughter from our 4th
ICSI
attempt). At day 3 we had one developing normally but slightly quickly (had 10 cells quite early) and 2 which had split abnormally.

The total process duration of IVF/ICSI
Hi,I am planning to go for a IVF after two, three months. Can I know the total time duration roughly? Because I recently joined my company for work and have to inform them before I start the process. Hope a clear answer A to Z. Thank you💜

Pregnant with untested embryo/blastocyst, gives me a lot of anxiety
I understand that, but I’m thinking what are my chances of any abnormalities and if most of you test your embryos, especially given my age and that it’s an
ICSI
conception. I would welcome any reassurance.

just had a shocking test result…
just gotten the results and it turns out there’s very sub normal levels of morphology. 2years of waisted heart ache, 2 years of doubt and fear, 2 years of our relationship changing and being both on the edge… and we could have been referred for IVF so much sooner… so confused now, we’ll be having

Protocol planners and milestone cards
Hi all - I am getting ahead of myself, but after 3 years of TTC and investigations and 2 clinical pregnancies and a big fat NHS rejection , we are
finally
starting IVF, and about to dive into our first round of IVF +
ICSI
+ PGT-A testing.

Update: Our 3 on Day 3
(First round of IVF and
ICSI
at 42y/o). Had our day 3 call with the embryologist today. None of the 3 that had not fertilised yet did in the end - which they expected. Of the 3 that did fertilise, all are dividing well - with 1 already
nearly
a morula.

31 eggs but only 1 blastocyst
We were recommended
ICSI
due to partner’s low mobility count. I have high AMH (30) at age 38 and stims went (too) well with 31 eggs collected, 24 of which were mature and 23 fertilised. But only one made it to blastocyst to freeze.

We are going through our 4th
ICSI
round (all previous ones were completely unsuccessful and we didn’t even get to a transfer). This time we somehow magically got 2x 3BB day 5 blasts. Both were transferred on day 5. I am on 2x morning and evening cyclogests and one lubion injection.

11 eggs retrieved, 7 mature. Only 3 fertilised.
we’re on our IVF

Don’t want to test tomorrow
urgh so this is our last try for a sibling (lucky to have daughter from 4th round of
ICSI
in 2020). We’ve been through just about every scenario with outcomes… 2 BFN, 1 MMC, 1 live birth, 1 chemical.

Preparing for 2nd cycle
We have just had our first cycle of IVF/
ICSI
. Unfortunately this failed with a chemical pregnancy and did not get any frosties. We will have our review appointment with the consultant in due course. The nurse has said it will be 6 months before we can try again.

It took us three rounds of
ICSI
to get to this stage ☹️ and we have nothing to show for it, except a broken heart and an empty bank account. Does anyone have any positive stories on how we can turn this around? Our next step is Karyotyping I think.

Low Follicles_increased stims_confused
I had a failed
ICSI
transfer end of May. So we decided to get back into it. Last cycle I had 10 follicles, 6 eggs collected, 5 matured and only 2 fertilized.

(SENSITIVE) Do we try again?
I’m 36, so lucky to have two beautiful, healthy children (both
ICSI
babies), but I had always dreamed of three.

no. of straws of sperm?
hello, I’m about to try
icsi
and I’m using donated sperm from EsB or cryos. I appreciate it might be like asking how long is a piece of string but how many straws should I purchase ? Happy to hear your thoughts. Best wishes

16 follicles but only 3 now growing?
I know "it only takes 1 egg", but as I know we have some male-factor to consider too as we go into
ICSI
, and then a possible high rejection rate with PGTA testing (or nothing to test), these numbers don't seem great after an optimistic baseline, followed by a good/optimistic first scan.
