Laproscopy
The doctor did say he couldn't perform a
hysteroscopy
because of scar tissue. I was then put on cerezette pill that I took back to back it stopped my period for years. I came of it when I was thirty four in hope of falling pregnant. In the mean time the monthly pains returned and left me in agony.

Hysteroscopy
Therefore I m awaiting a
hysteroscopy
with cervix dilation and an endometrial biopsy (endometrial scratching that I discussed with the IVF doctor to improve chances of implantation next time). Anyone had this done before? How did it go?

With one hospital, can you ask to be referred to another? Also can you request hysterectomy?
Hello all, I am 43 and have severe endo. I exercise loads and try and eat sensible endo diet. No children due to Endo. Have had four laparoscopies, two hysteroscopies and numerous procedures and a life saving emergency laparotomy 3 years ago after I got infection from elective surgery/laparoscopy for

Ligament injury from litho tony position during gynae op anyone ?
This chronic constant groin pain came on in October when I had a
Hysteroscopy
to remove a polyp . I've just another gynae for a THIRD opinion ! He said he thinks it's more like ligament damage from the positioning during the op .

Ablation and increased pain.
I've had a
hysteroscopy
(twice) laparoscopy (twice) had my cervix cauterised (THAT was an experience!) and had a couple of D & C's followed by an Ablation in February 2015. Am starting to wish I'd never had the Ablation done. Although the bleeding is greatly reduced (which is fantastic!!)

Feeling very tired nearly two weeks after a laproscopy
Hi everyone I had a
hysteroscopy
and a laproscopy 11 days ago. They found endometriosis. I'm still feeling extremely tired. I'm healing well apart from a smelly belly button (gross I know) but I feel completely exhausted despite resting has anyone else suffered this.

For the last 5 months, I have had all the tests done, have had a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
done. The funding has been approved for one free ivf cycle.

Total Hysterectomy ...
I don't want to doubt the decision of the consultant, but other than an exploratory
hysteroscopy
last year, no other treatment options have been carried out or discussed. I'm 45, no children but no plans to have one now, have made my peace with that one a while ago...

Lap & hysteroscopy
I'm having a lap &
hysteroscopy
. According to pre-op I'm having laser treatment too? I'm obviously feeling very nervous, as it is my first op too. I've had another infection for the past 2 weeks aswell. Can continuous infections be related to Endo?

Confused after colonoscopy yesterday
I'm booked in for a laparoscopy, cystoscopy and
hysteroscopy
next Thursday 14 jan. My question is that I had a colonoscopy yesterday (which wasn't the nicest experience!) - and this came back clear. Does anyone know if it's possible to have bowel related endo but a colonoscopy come back clear?
