Hysteroscopy worries
Hi all I have been told I need a
hysteroscopy
but I am worried as I am quite overweight and I know I maybe at risk of complications? I haven't been told if it's under general or local although I am due to see the anaesthetist on the 14th October.

Advice/support/love required xx :)
However a pain carried on and earlier this year I had a
hysteroscopy
and laparoscopy where they found some (apparently not loads of) endometriosis. Months on from that and I'm still getting very odd bouts of pain.

Lap four days ago and sore
Hi there, I had my laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
four days and am so sore. It's my belly and legs. Am so tired and emotional. Currently taking 3x 400mg ibuprofen and paracetamol. Do you know when the pain gets better. My belly hurts so much especially sitting. Thanks so much. xx

Had my lap yesterday.
Hi all, So I had my lap, cystoscopy,
hysteroscopy
and a d&c yesterday. I have been diagnosed with endo and adenomyosis ( which I'm not quite so familiar with).

Heavy, Prolonged and Painful Periods
The initial thought was adenomyosis and I am due to have a
hysteroscopy
under general anaesethetic next week. If the
hysteroscopy
comes back all ok, what would the next step be? Are there any more tests to diagnose adenomyosis and what are they?

Mirena coil experiences
I have pcos and am having a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
next week and the consultant was keen for me to have one put in because of my heavy periods. I really don't want one in case it causes weight gain... Thank you! X

I'm having a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
...I have never been so excited for an operation before! Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of excruciatingly intense period pain! I will let everyone know what the results are!

My G.P says I need a referral fairly quickly due to recent scans as the Gynecologist I say last year in October 2015 Sussex just wasted my time β she performed a

Anyone treated endometriosis successfully?
His suggested treatment plan for me is laparoscopy to diagnose and excise the endometriosis (if any),
hysteroscopy
and insert mirena.

Recovery timr
Hi there, I have my laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
booked on a Thursday in a few weeks and am back at work the following Wednesday. Will that be enough recovery time? Am so nervous about it and really hope there's not even more pain afterwards.

My Fallopian tubes are damaged - advise needed please!!!
Hi Girls, had a Laparoscopy and
Hysteroscopy
just before the weekend due to PCOS. They did ovarian drilling on one of my ovaries and was told that the PCOS is not severe at all and there is no endo but one of my fallopian tube is severely damaged and the second one is a bit leaky.

Any advice needed
Gynaecologist said lap and
hysteroscopy
to be done, which was a few months later - six weeks check up Yes I removed endo from pelvic cavity and discharged. Was still in the same amount of pain as before but was told go back to gp as it wasn't a gynaecology problem!
